Séjour presque parfait dans un chalet de rêve avec une propriétaire au petit soin

Le chalet est extraordinaire, excellente situation, bord de mer à quelques encablures et commerces tous proches. Juste deux petits détails, la propreté serait à améliorer ainsi que les ustensiles de cuisine, nous avons du acheter nos propres poêles ! Une photo également n’explique pas que la machine à laver et le sèche linge sont dans une chambre (pas pratique à cause du bruit) . Enfin, la piscine mériterait d’être couverte afin d’éviter d’être sale au moindre coup de vent.

Relaxing Getaway

We had the best stay. The host was only a text away the entire time. The house was perfect and the great location and pool were an added bonus. We can’t wait to visit again!

Outstanding Property

One of the most well appointed properties we have ever rented. They pretty much thought of everything. The house and pool are lovely and provided my family with much enjoyment. This is an Evolve property. Whenever we are booking through VRBO we give preference to their listings as they are always top notch. In the unlikely event that you have an issue they handle it promptly and efficiently. Book this property if available - you won’t regret it.

Great Escape from the Midwest

The Jellyfish House fit the needs of my family and was as described. Cooking supplies and utensils, dishware, silverware and glassware in the kitchen were abundant. Even though we brought a few items from my kitchen, we really didn’t need to use these. Cleaning supplies, bedding, linen and towels were plentiful. We were able to host family and friends at the house a few times and comfortably cook meals which definitely made the property very much a home away from home. The pool, landscape and bug spray were maintained as scheduled. Fenced in back yard provided enough privacy and space for our 6 year old pup to explore. Sabrina, the property manager, was quick to respond to inquiries. Only inquiry was about the recycle bin, which we were unable to locate. Must’ve gone missing since the last Hurricane/storm. Grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, Space Coast attractions, Kennedy Space Center, NASA launchpad and cruise ship ports were nearby since it’s off of N Atlantic/A1A. It’s location made for close (but not too close) distance from family and friends in Merritt Island and surrounding area. Overall, it was a pleasant visit to warmer weather coming from Wisconsin. A wonderful alternative to staying at a hotel. Wish we could’ve stayed longer… until next time!

Wonderful cottage!

Awesome cottage in an excellent location! Just a couple of blocks to the beach with the Mobimat for our two children in wheelchairs... Excellent! The house had EVERYTHING you would need for a great stay (beach supplies, pool toys, seasonings in the well stocked kitchen, etc). We even got to see a rocket launch on our last night! The waves were great for surfing and the weather was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book the Jellyfish Cottage again!

Great Getaway

Our trip to Cocoa Beach was great. The house was exactly as described. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our time out by the pool. Also used the grill. Only thing that would be a plus is if the cabana had a bathroom. Great for a bedroom but inconvenient to have to go into the house at night to use the bathroom. Overall great house.

Pickleball Stay

The house was not what was portrayed in the Pictures. We expected a newly renovated house like the one in the pics and description. The shower had black mold all the way around the entire perimeter. All the outside metal furniture was rusted and would stain you clothes if you sat on it. The beach chairs had so much rust it would stain your clothes and you could hardly open them. The textured pool deck was cover in algae and mold. The fire pit was rusted out and leaked gas and we couldn't use it the entire time we were there because it wouldn't stay lit and you could just smell the gas. The big grill looked fine until you opened it and the inside was rusted out and dirty. When we mentioned this to the manager she said it's Florida and things get moldy and rusty and because it's rented all the time they don't have time to fix things. This house should not have been rented in this condition. We waited seven months to travel to Florida and stay in what was decribed as a newly renovated home for a month. We were shammed with no where to go after waiting months. They told us Evolve didn't have any other places for us and VRBO said put it in your review.... First time we've felt this was about renting from VRBO....

Hi Richard, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: - We have high standards of cleanliness for our home and apologize for the build-up around the shower. We were happy to send our cleaning team to immediately address this when you reached out. - There were some rust stains on the pool deck from the old furniture, but this had been replaced with all-new, synthetic furniture before your stay. - The beach chairs supplied for guests are inspected and replaced on a quarterly basis. Beach chairs can get rusty around the screws but are mostly aluminum so they do not rust near the seating surfaces. We investigated the chairs after this departure and threw away two of them as they did not meet our standards. - A small amount of algae can grow in shady spots during wetter months, especially on the sloped sides of the pool deck. This is cleared off between guests but as your stay was long, it gave it time to grow back. Our property manager was able to immediately get rid of this for you. - The grill had one rusted spot under the glass beads, which did not affect the functioning of the fire pit. The pit has a safety feature to prevent gas from flowing if the flame is extinguished and we believe the smell was due to user error. This fire pit has since been replaced. - The grill is burned off and scraped between every guest visit. It is fully functional and the cook surface is clean. - We will work with both guests and owners to make sure that we can provide a fair resolution if an issue does happen, and we weren’t able to provide the resolution you were hoping for based on the documentation provided. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Jellyfish Cottage Was a Delight

I have been a VRBO customer for several years and this property was far and away the nicest so far. I would go back to the Jellyfish Cottage anytime. Michelle, the host and owner, was very helpful and flexible and immediately responsive even when she herself was on vacation in Puerto Rico. I felt like we were old friends. The property and owner are more than 5 stars!

Hello: I will be booking again. The only downfall was the landscaping wasn't done, inside of kitchen cabinets were dirty, beach wasn't close as advertised & oven needed to be cleaned. Otherwise property was amazing! Manager was great!
