correct. lit confortable

la personne qui nous a acceuill etait trés gentil, il nous a aidé et repondu a nos attentes. les chambre sont simple mais correct, le lit est confortable. l'hotel dit etre "luxe" mais ce n'est pas le cas, c'est juste correct.

After 20 hours of travel we were met at a locked gate by staff who could not find our paid reservation (so much for 24 hour front desk service). We were not invited inside the gate but were standing on the side of the road in the dark, no street lights. We are thankful for the driver that took us to get something to eat. They notified us our reservation was confirmed after about 40 mins. We went back got the room one bed and totally unusable shower about 19 or 20 inch step up with no safety/grab bars. I had to clean the sink and toilet above usual wipe down before using. We slept with our clothes on and promptly checked out the next day.

Madame, sorry you had a bed experience. Unfortunately your Claim in here is 110% lies and you know that. If I could post pictures of our prior communication and picture I would! You booked a one bed room yet you wanted two beds when we had non and never advertised for such. You say you couldn’t sleep with your brother on the same beds yet you booked a one bedroom, so we offered you a second room at 50% discount but you were so upset that we couldn’t give you a room with two beds. Then your started complaining about us. A hotel in Ghana, West Africa, not being compliant with American Disability Act (ADA)… seriously? - then out of nowhere you claimed you are disabled and need to be accommodated yet our hotel never advertised a accommodation for disabled guests. You complain about not being about to get in the one step showers yet you happily walk Ian’s and down the 4 steps in front of the reception… and there is absolutely nothing about you, visibly, that would suggest to anybody the you are handicap albeit we know that one could be handicapped mentally or emotionally, which we believe is your case, but you never communicated anything to us until you asked for a refund because you couldn’t get two beds in the same room. So we watched you make false statements incrementally and that is disappointing. We have confidence in the judgment of the prospective guest and are confident that they would loop to the many positive comments and choose to give us a chance.Your brother said he enjoyed our breakfast, you eat breakfast and lied that your did not when you did, you said we had a wonderful staff yet you are so fixated about the extremism on lies. For our promotion rate if 30 per night that you paid, we think we had the best offer in the city. Some of our guests in house even extended their stays for extra nights. We take feedback very well, but we do not know what to improve when extremism meets lies, and high expectations for us in Ghana to comply with your America local laws.

acceptable but not ideal

The room is clean and well-set, but the air conditioner not working effectively. The location is not ideal for touristic purpose but very quiet.

We have scheduled a full air conditioner “AC” service for the room you stayed this week, and will get to the bottom of it. All our ACs were serviced at the beginning of the season so we are sorry for the ineffectiveness of this one. Regarding the location, we bring the uniqueness of Adisadel Estate to bear. Adisadel Estate is a very safe community where you can even find women and children walking safely and freely even during late hours, with virtually no crime, plus the close proximity to the people (middle class, for the most part) has offered our guests a more realistic touch and radiance of the people of our hometown, Cape Coast, as opposed to the remote touch of some what others offer which is completely disconnected from the wonderful and hospitable people of whose city you are here to enjoy. We bring the two best (people and soil) together and offer our guests a complete pleasure and safety.Marrets is only minutes away from all tourist attractions which are fluidly accessible. We are only 20+ minutes walk from the Cape Coast Castle where only a 25 cents (quarter of a dollar) taxi ride will also take you there. With this light, we encourage you to visit our quiet safe humble hotel again on your next trip.

Don’t ever go to this place!!!!!

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The photos on the side are fake, internet not working or very, very bad, air conditioning not working, no cleaning for 3 days, I had to ask several times, bathroom lousy and toilet was running constantly. Don’t ever go to this place!!!!!!!!!!

Jan, I am so sorry that you had a bad experience. If you look at many of our reviews, we have met the mark, and will continue to take every opportunity to improve. Regarding the pictures, please, send me an email and point to a single picture that is fake and I will be sure to address that in a hurry. I have taken the time to review each picture and I certify that each one of them is exactly what we offer. A good choice

The room was clean and comfortable. Hot water on demand. The wifi was strong in my room. The breakfast was very tasty. The bread was toasted and the omelette was just right, hot coffee or Milo. I mixed them both coffee and Milo for a great taste.

Good A/C

Had Air-conditioning which was the main plus. Was convenient. Had a musty smell though as if every thing was old in the room. The shower worked and water.

Bad start

Francis, the receptionist was really nice and did everything he could to make us comfortable. Unfortunately we started of quite unpleasantly at the Marrets. They seemed to not have our reservation and after showing it we were sent to a small room with a very narrow and soft bed that smelled bad. Because I'vd paid for a bigger bed I insisted on a bigger one and the next day we could change the room. Unfortunately the bed wasn't bigger but after all in a better shape and it smelled clean. So we stayed there. Not only or reservation was missing but also the money I'd already paid. After half an hour of arguing and insisting that I wouldn't pay a second time it was ok...
