Great property, if no communication with owners needed
Posted Nov. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property is amazing. It is a beautiful, spacious house, amazing location and all the additional items provided are top class. We did not miss anything.
The one star that was deducted is for bad communication:
- We find out that the pool heater we paid for was broken after we did troubleshooting for a day. We finally reached out on Sunday ourselves and were asked to reach out to the other owner. They knew it was broken since Thursday and did not say anything.
- Pointing out that this was bad communication and not even receiving an apology.
- Me asking them to proactively communicate on the exchange of the heater and offering to support and then learning about it being fixed a day after it had already happened also understanding that somebody entered the property without prior notice.
- Finding out in the agreement, which was sent late, that pool heating could have only been purchased for some of the stay, after having asked about that and it was said that it would not be possible and therefore purchasing it for the entire stay.
- Refunding 2 days worth of pool heating (it was still cold in the main pool on Tuesday (day 4), due to late communication we had planned to be away all Wednesday, so actively being able to use the pool Wendesday evening, Thursday, and Friday morning (1.5 days).
- Multiple attempts of trying to get some understanding of the issue were not fruitful.

Marco, pool heater broke Thursday evening as you stated. Friday we called repair people contacted. You arrived on Saturday. The NEW pool heater was installed on Monday. We refunded you 2 days worth of pool heat for the days you were without it. We really couldn't have had repairs made any faster. Your check in was Saturday afternoon and by Monday afternoon, the pool heater was replaced. Sorry again for the inconvenience

evacuation stay :(
Posted Oct. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayI can not say enough goo things about the property owner!! Very fast communication. Our stay was cut short due to hurricane Milton :( and we ended up having to leave due to mandatory evacuation. But the house was AMAZING very nice location and plenty of extras. I am just sad that we were only there a couple of days. Hopefully we will be back and can try again (not during hurricane season).

Amazing Place!
Posted Sep. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayEverything from the communication with questions, quick replies, cleanliness of the inside and outside, location to the beach and stores and the overall sleeping situation was absolutely perfect for our family.
If we find ourselves seeking a place to stay in the Cape Coral area ever again we will be looking to stay at this place again for sure.

Posted Aug. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was a great place to stay, with lots of amenities including kayaks, a paddle board, coolers, beach chairs, pool toys and a brilliantly clean and well equipped house. Plus it was a beautiful spot with lots of places to visit nearby. We went to the beach, a single A baseball game (twice), kayaked on the canals and enjoyed local restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Excellent Property
Posted Jul. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayMe and my family had a wonderful 5 night stay at this property. We spent most of our time at the house hanging by the pool and using the BBQ. Owners are highly responsive. The beds are AMAZING!! We would stay again! My recommendation to anyone staying at this location would be instead of driving 45 minutes plus to captivia is to drive the 13 minutes to pine island and take the ferry over to North Captivia. We discovered it on our last day and so much fun with no stress.
