This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants.
Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms. The eco light bulbs last around 45min… then darkness…
No ambience in restaurant… Things on menu not available… prices Do not match…
Staff very helpful and friendly.
If more management/owner attention to this hotel, think it can be an exceptional property and stay.

Holiday stay by default
Publié le 3 janv. 2022 sur HotelsEnded up here by default, stay was good but when I phoned they said breakfast wasn’t included in my room so had to eat else where. Upon check out I was asked why I didn’t eat the breakfast as it was included by another staff member. Was also asked to pay the balance of my stay even though it had been paid in full by hotels.com. Not a bad hotel, but probably won’t stay again.

No ADA accessibility.
Elevator floor does not meet lobby floor.
Elevator very small.
Walked into room shocked to find twin beds in a small room.
Bathroom has not handle on the door, had to use fingernails to open door.
Bathroom small with tiny shower with a dispenser for shampoo that falls off every day.
Bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Patio right next to the beach was sweet.
In an area that is very accessible to Walgreens and dinner options with reasonable prices.
Overall, it was not too bad, but the first impression was shocking!

Thank you for your feedback - I only wish I knew who you were so I could investigate further why you were not allocated a more suitable room.
From your description I assume you were allocated a Twin Sea-Facing Room. Adjacent to our Twin Sea-Facing Rooms are our 36 square meter Queen-bedded Sea-Facing Rooms which include a comfortable sitting area with couch. The bathrooms are also more spacious.
I am pleased to learn you found our beds comfortable and enjoyed the sea facing balcony.
