We had a lovely stay at the Mont d'Or - Johannes was a wonderful host!
The property was really homely and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Its a short walk to town, restaurants or the wine tram and we'd definitely stay again :)

A fabulous 6 nights. Thank you to Lance and the team. A beautifully located and managed property within seconds of the centre of Franschoek and all of it attractions.
The staff couldn’t do more to help and make our stay so good.

This property is in a fantastic location, being nice and central to restaurants and cafes on the Main Street. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. The room itself was pretty average (but spacious), especially given the price - it was quite old, with squeaky floors. The bed was a bit short (not an issue for us but if you’re taller it would be a bit small) and the shower did not have a curtain or door, allowing water to get all over the bathroom floor. The grounds of the hotel were nice with the breakfast by the pool area and garden.
