Reasonable stay

The room that you refer to is our one older standard room and vis due for an upgrade in the next few weeks. We hope you will return to come an enjoy the new upgrade. We also offer beautiful luxury and king rooms that are up to date in decor and style. Next time book one of them, and enjoy luxury, space and hopefully more peaceful. I had business to attend to early the morning so the obvious overnight place was Nuwerus. Comfortable, clean, well appointed, nice breakfast (With the fire burning ) friendly hosts, enough parking and quick to the N1. Its really a pleasure to book in, book out etc and if available we try not to stay anywhere else.

The lodge is a fantastic place to stay. The host is helpful and kind, the beds are really comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the house dog is adorable. I would definitely stay again.

The location is semi-rural, extremely pleasant with numerous squirrels in the extensive grounds. However, one must be prepared to drive or walk for 40 minutes to encounter facilities such as bars or restaurants. TV Is via streaming, so if one is unprepared then there's no nightly entertainment. The staff were friendly and efficient; the food and service very acceptable.

Publié le 1 mai 2024 sur HotelsNuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.

Our hostess Yolanda was amazing. Her suggestions for lunches , suppers and vineyards were so appreciated . She even made us supper reservations . Breakfasts were delicious.
