Clean comfortable home

Everything we needed for fun on the beach was there for us.the beds were very comfortable. The down stairs suit and outside shower was a nice plus. We were here in July. The Mosquitoes were trublesome and do wish more of the door had screens.
Pebble Beach was great when the surf wasn't high. Gorgeous snorkeling to the north of the bay.

Beach House in South Captain Cook area
Publié le 7 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house accommodated us very well for our family of seven. The views were breathtaking from the lanai and from each room! If you enjoy a quiet, remote location and having a studio suite in a lower level (with a small bathroom) that is segregated from the rest of the living area, (which was a surprise for our family), this place is for you. The beauty of the surroundings is accentuated by the steep hills surrounding the property. A true respite!

Lovely beach house

Wonderful stay at Anji's Beach House
Publié le 24 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayThis house is in an amazing location and has a great layout. You will enjoy the birds, trees and iconic Hawaiin sunsets from the lanai, or down at the beach at the end of the street. The property owner is terrific as well.

The house was pretty comfortable and the location was lovely.

Cons
Most important was critical missing information. The description of the house did not mention that there is no garbage collection or that the water in the taps is not for drinking . It meant having to drive for a while to the community spigit and manage your own garbage. Just felt it would have been great to know that when we booked the house rather than know a few days before, so we could have decided if that was something we wanted to deal with.
Poorly stocked kitchen
The house need some repair
Curtains and/or blinds would be a plus including screen on the doors hard to keep the mosquitoes out.
The studio bathroom is so small that only a small person can use it

Hi Terry, we're so glad you enjoyed the location and the hosts were helpful during your stay, but we're sorry if you felt caught off guard.
- Evolve takes the accuracy of our listings seriously as we want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. However, we apologize if you felt some necessary information was not included in the listing description.
- It is correct that there's no garbage collection in the neighborhood, so everyone has to take the trash to the local transfer station. Plus, every house in the neighborhood is fed with water from its catchment tank. Both these items are noted in the pre-stay email and the house manual.
- The owners and Evolve are working together to evaluate how to best advertise the beach house and if we need to make any changes.
- While this is the first time the owners have received this type of feedback regarding the kitchen supplies, they will look into it and add any additional items if needed.
- The owners have also recently hired a local handyman who is willing and able to do repairs and upkeep on the house. He has already started to do some minor repairs and maintenance.
The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

Perfect size for our family
