Captiva Stay
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was very accommodating for our family. We did not have hot water the entire time in the master bedroom so we took cold showers the entire time. The condo could have used more trash bags, salt/pepper, paper towels. There was not salt or pepper, bags, etc in the kitchen. I would personally clear out a cabinet with the extra silverware drawer and add in some of those items for the guests. Overall, the place was great.

Feedback is so helpful -- thank you for taking the time to review our condo. Sorry, you took cold showers -- we have a plumber on call just for these emergencies. If you had contacted us, or our agency (American Realty) it would have been fixed. In the interim, we hope you used one of the other two showers in the condo. We checked into this and the hot and cold labels were reversed. We are having it corrected.
Our welcome guide notes a small amount of dish soap, detergent, trash bags, and a roll of paper towels are provided to get you started. Also, to bring salt, pepper, and coffee for your first morning.
Again, we appreciate your comments and are glad the condo was accommodating for your family.

Great stay
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at this place. Porch overlooked the marina and it was beautiful to watch the sunrise. Plenty of amenities to get the trip started. Lots of space and slept comfy

Wedding week!

BUT the couch was filthy!! No one would sit on it and was cleaned day before leaving thus wet so couldn’t sit on it last day😢Peter is great to communicate with. My poor Mom’s bedding had dirt /sand between layers of bedding and sink was slow draining. As a condo owner who rents out I know the owners would be upset to see what we walked into.
Put up a great front so all could enjoy!

It saddens us that this guest's stay was unpleasant. We were in close and frequent contact and responded promptly. With the guest’s permission we had the couch cleaned and the sink fixed. Everything possible was done for their comfort.

Massive amount of recovery work all over both islands. No elevator was a major issue. Would not have booked if we knew it would not be fixed

Gorgeous beach!
Publié le 7 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved our stay in captiva. Very close walk to the beach. Even shorter to the pool. Very quiet area and beaches aren't crowded at all. Place was very clean and owner was quick with responses to the minor inquiries we had. Would stay again

The Perfect Captiva Girls Weekend

The hosts were very communicative and ensured we had all information needed prior to and during the duration of our stay. Highly recommend and would stay here again when we come back!
