A Slice of Heaven on the Kennebec
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is truly unique in it’s location and it’s layout. Just steps away from the Kennebec River, the cottage is outfitted with everything needed for an amazing stay. After returning from a day on the trail or the water, we sat in the peaceful yard right on the shore of the river. The beauty of the setting is amplified by the absence of neighbors next to the cottage or across the river. In addition to the comfortable chairs provided by the river, a lovely screened in gazebo provides another option for taking in the serenity.
The cottage has a wonderful room off the back with windows all the way around facing the woods and the river. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has a great shower. We enjoyed cooking on the large gas grill out on the covered porch. We had our own private outdoor seating to enjoy a meal, along with an extra large hammock big enough for two.

Slice of heaven
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was a perfect break away from the hustle of life. It was extremely peaceful to wake up to the sounds of rain dripping from the leaves. We loved walking down to the river and watching the deer across the way.
We raved to all of our friends how well equipped the cabin was. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and had never stayed at one like this. They had everything you could think of in case you forgot something at home. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming during our stay as well.

Lovely spot
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were there only a couple of nights as we planned a whitewater rafting excursion. It was such a lovely spot near the river. The cottage had everything we needed. The owners checked in to see if we had all we needed. The beds were comfortable and the addition of family games was welcome, especially with the rain we had while there.

Serene Cabin
Publié le 27 août 2023 sur HomeAwaySerene cabin on the Kennebec River. The cabin is impeccably clean with ample space and all the necessities. We caught many fish on the river , enjoyed kayaking. Mike and Kim are great hosts, very friendly and helpful.
