Great for gathering and family reunions. Can be combined with our 3 bedroom sister property on a separate adjacent Lot, 200 yards away. VRBO # 3168327

Large Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room open floor plan overlooking Mount Sopris with plenty of natural light. This cozy common area has a 16 person dining table, 5 island bar stools, fireplace and sectional sofa. Property is located in a lodging tax oasis and has the lowest lodging tax rate in all of the Roaring Fork Valley, Compare and Save!

The kitchen is well-equipped with a wide range of cookware and small appliances. Stove, microwave, 2 refrigerators, dishes, cutlery, 14 cup coffee maker, keurig coffee machine, coffee grinder, 4 slice toaster, blender, mini cuisinart processor/mixer, crockpot, grilling utensils, griddle, 18 quart oven roaster and spice rack.

Large Master Suite with fireplace and walk out to yard. It has 1 King and 2 bunk beds off of the master. This is a great floor plan if you have small children and like them close. 3 bedrooms with 1 queen bed, and 1 bedroom with 3 person bunk bed (twin top full bottom).

65" LED Smart TV comes with Fubo TV subscription and recording of your favorite shows, Apple TV and WiFi.

This 8-acre property is peaceful and private with superb views and walking trails. It is perfect for guests who enjoy the Aspen Valley area and want a retreat. We often see wildlife including deer, elk, chipmunks, rabbits are many types of birds. The House is open and light, with awesome views of from Aspen to Glenwood. Enjoy the scenery from the deck in the summer or through the many windows with views during the winter.

In the summer, Fly Fish the famous Gold Medal Frying Pan, Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Golf, Hiking, Rafting, Horse Back riding, and Mountain Biking are some of the Valley’s abundant summer time activities.

A winter paradise. FIVE mountains all within 30-40 minutes of the house – Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Sunlight. Rentals available in Carbondale, Basalt and Glenwood Springs.

Carbondale is a hub of fabulous restaurants, shopping, art and theatre. There is also dining and shopping in nearby Basalt and Glenwood Springs.

There is another building/garage on the property however it is not available for rent or use by tenants.

It was the perfect opportunity to get away from the sounds of the city and find a quiet place to relax. The location was GREAT away from traffic and other noise, and still close enough to find a great restaurant in Basalt or Carbondale or go to the pool in Glenwood Springs. we had a wide range in ages so even the high school kid had fun at the pool and caverns while the rest of us read, relaxed and shopped. The kitchen was perfect for a group of wanna be cooks, plenty of room and great selection of spices and misc. items that never make the trip.

This is an amazing property, the house is beautiful and fully equipped with amenities. The view is breathtaking that it looks like a painting. This property definitely elevated our experience in Colorado during our vacations and we can't wait to come back soon!

Our family stayed here for 5 days. Each adult family had their own bedroom. The property was clean and well maintained.

The house is about 10 minutes from Carbondale where we enjoyed the 4th of July parade. The maroon Bells near Aspen were great fun and we saw the now famous Bull Moose (2 of them) near the falls just up from Maroon Lake. Of course the pool at Glenwood Springs was a hit for the entire family. We also did a jeep trip from Marble to Crystal and the Mill on Crystal River was really fun to visit.

We enjoyed the kitchen at the house and ate all of our meals there. The pictures are accurate, although thy do not do it justice to the incredible view of Mt. Sopris.

Son’s Wedding
This was a wonderful venue for hosting family and friends, some from as far away as Hawaii and New Zealand, for our middle son’s wedding at the Maroon Bells. We were lucky to be in the Roaring Fork Valley at the height of the Fall colors and an overnight snowfall on Mt.Sopris.Guests will especially enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the deck or at the large table inside!

Best view ever!!
We were a group of 9, 6 adults and 3 children and we had a great time! The house was clean, well stocked (so many towels!!!), and comfortable. The hosts were beyond accommodating and helpful. The outdoor space was next level, we loved the fire pit, outdoor dining table, grill and hot tub. There was a nice lawn with games for the kids and even a vegetable garden we could enjoy. Would rent again!

Just what we hoped for
Lynne's home was just what we hoped for with our family of 16. It's roomy, well equipped, well planned and clean. Lynne was quickly responsive when we had questions. The kitchen/family room was the highlight of our stay. There are indoor and outdoor eating and game playing options for our family. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms met all our needs. It is remote from towns and highways but that also makes for magnificent views.

Family reunion
We had scheduled a family reunion for 16 people, and this home was a wonderful place to gather. The large kitchen/dining room/living room areas allowed everyone to interact while doing various activities. The yard has two grassy areas that the teenagers and smaller kids enjoyed while playing various yard games. The location of this home provides gorgeous views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend this home to other guests.

Perfect location

Beautiful location and views! We really enjoyed the hot tub, deck, and all the things to do in the area. Owners were very responsive to questions. Wonderful place for a multi-generational gathering. Only slight negatives: some mice (clearly from outside, NOT related to cleanliness of the house), for which we got no-kill traps and relocated a few; and only two showers (both en suite so everyone has to go through bedrooms to reach). Overall it was a super place to stay.

Best trip ever!
We had a family reunion here and the place was amazing. Very clean very modern, homey and well equipped. We use the hot tub, outdoor space and fire pit on the last day. We will probably like to stay here again sometime. we went River rafting, to the Hot Springs, and hiking. We all very much enjoyed the views and beautiful area. The only downside was the bathrooms, only 2 1/2 for 16 people is tight, but we showered at the Hot Springs a couple times thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay here .

Spring skiing
We loved this house. Quite with a beautiful view and such a wonderful open layout on main level. It’s a bit of a drive to skiing however after many years of staying in downtown Aspen I so enjoyed the quiet and the space with the kids. Also I’ve never slept so well in a rental house in the mountains as I did here. Great beds!

A total dream
We had a large group and there was space for all of us. There were many highlights: views of Mount Sopris, hottub, steam shower, big jacuzzi baths, big outdoor fire pit, and walking distance to beautiful trails. 10/10 recommend staying here!!!!

Gorgeous Aspen adjacent house with perfect views!
My family and friends greatly enjoyed our one week stay at this amazing house! An easy 30 minute drive to any of Aspen's ski mountains, this house is tucked away on a hill, which gives unobstructed views of all nearby mountains! Loved cooking in the kitchen with the open layout for all kids/adults spending time together. The hot tub fit our whole family comfortably, as a perfect end to daily ski runs, and allowed us to have perfect night-time starry skies (no light pollution!) while also seeing the Milky Way Galaxy! Incredible week at this property! A+++

Amazing Views & Location!
Family flu in from MN and we drove in from Denver! We had 5 kids, ranging from 3mo-4 yo and 9 adults! This property was PERFECT! The hot tub was a favorite among everyone! There was plenty of space to spread out and all have our own room. There were two pack n plays at the house- which helped us out a ton with family flying in from MN. The owners were beyond wonderful! Fast communication and Erich went above and beyond by coming down one morning and taking us into his gardens and letting the kids and us pick raspberries, apples, strawberries and vegetables. It was a very special trip!! Thank you Lynn and Erich for making our trip so great! 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE! Lots of deer wandering through the property and fun little trails to walk around on. Pictures don't do it justice!

Maroon bells wedding
We came for a wedding at maroon bells amphitheater. The view there was gorgeous, but I can't say whether the view off the back porch was better or worse that's how beautiful this property really is. Host was super nice and responsive. Can't recommended more.

We stayed in both of Lynn and Erik's properties, the house was beautiful and worked perfectly for our party of 21. The location was perfect, and the views were to die for. We spent most of our time in the bigger of the 2 properties on the deck, around the fire pit and in the hot tub. We where able to relax and enjoy everthing that this property offered. Lynn and Erik where so helpful in helping find 2 places next to each other to accommodate our big group. Definitely worth staying at this property. Thank you for making this trip a success.

Best Views & Best Home for Large Family Gathering
What a gorgeous home, property, and area! Our group of 15 had a fabulous week. Plenty of space for all of us, the kids loved the bunk rooms, and spending the nights stargazing from the hot tub was a favorite for everyone. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we could need, and the yard was big enough to set up our crossnet and a full volleyball net! The creek was a fun onsite feature, and having Lynne and Erich, the wonderful owners close enough in case we needed anything, was a blessing. We hope to come back again soon! We all drove in from Texas, Idaho, and Oregon and every one of us agreed it's our favorite VRBO and the most beautiful place we've ever been. Thank you for a wonderful time!
