Spacious, modern, basement-level apartment with high ceilings and windows located in the heart of downtown Carbondale. The vacation space is located beneath the main house and central to the action of Carbondale family living; if you love being in the middle of it all while having the option to head out of town for a hike, or work remotely, then this space is for you! Enjoy cooking in your full kitchen or walking to all of the wonderful restaurants this gorgeous town has to offer!This space is located directly across from Sopris Park - a large park that hosts many events throughout the year - and one block from Main Street in Carbondale. We allow up to two pets to accompany you. Please read the pet policy below to make sure it works for your trip!

This one bedroom, one bathroom space is perfect for two and can also accommodate four with the addition of a comfortable new Murphy bed located in the open dining. Enjoy a full kitchen, living room with TV, dining area (with Murphy bed), desk space, master bedroom with queen-sized bed, and a modern bathroom. Everything you could need for the perfect stay whether it's for work, visiting family & friends, or a vacation. The space has been fully remodeled and recently soundproofed to minimize noise from the attached main home upstairs. Please note that a regular amount of noise needs to be expected at times during the day as there is a family (with pets and children) that lives upstairs, directly above our guest space. If you are sensitive to noise, the apartment comes with a sleep noise machine for you, and you may also use the tv/stereo to muffle any traveling sounds. We like to mention this if you decide you would be better suited to rent in an area with more solitude instead of amongst locals and families in town.

PLEASE NOTE:

- PET POLICY: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. There is a $100 pet fee for every 7 nights at the home. Airbnb is only able to charge for the first 7-nights so, if you book for over 7 nights, we will send you the remaining pet fee through the resolution center after booking. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $500 fine. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and please keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!

- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service.

- You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things. While all our homes are well-managed, we cannot predict the unpredictable as we live in a natural setting. Please understand this prior to booking this home.
