LOCATION EXEMPLAIRE il ne manque absolument rien, belle déco et grande propreté

bel équipement, rien ne manque, très propre, il y a même des sortie de bain
seul bémol, du bruit le soir a cause des restaurants et tôt le matin, car les employés municipaux nettoient a fond la place des 5H30, avec des engins bruyants (sans doute a cause de la canicule)

Charming appartment with all of Carcassonne at your fingertips

Magnifique séjour dans un super appartement.
Publié le 6 août 2019 sur HomeAwayIdéalement situé, tout le confort nécessaire avec directives claires. Carcassonne et les alentours 😚 Narbonne, Fontfroide, Peyrepertuse XXX, et la Cité. Un peu bruyant le matin, je dois avouer, mais c’est le seul petit défaut. Merci Kaye!

A charming apartment

Very well equipped kitchen, should you tire of the plentiful restaurants round about. We had a lovely stay. Lots to see and do in and around the city.

Perfect short break
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect place for a short break.Appartment well equipped including beach towels. You are at the centre of activity and can get around on the local buses for next to nothing. We didn’t have a car but managed to visit all the main attractions by foot or bus. Transfer by bus from the airport was very short then a short walk to the apartment. The owner Kaye was easy to contact and ample information in the apartment about places to visit. Great break at a great apartment and location . We are a couple in our late 60’s but found it had something for all age groups

In the middle of the action. Offered by a great hostess

Kaye is a terrific hostess, leaving detailed directions to everything inside the apartment, the immediate neighborhood, and the surroundings. We do not have a car, so I do not have an opinion on parking facilities. I am sure Kaye has the information.
Supermarket, pharmacies, cafés, and outdoor activities are all within short walking distance. The World Heritage sites of the medieval city La Cité de Carcassonne and the Canal de Midi are a short walk away. Outdoor walks around the Aude River are beautiful, flat, peaceful, and a few minutes walk from your front door.
When we needed a taxi, we called Taxi Carcassonne. They have taxis available on call. Call the night before to arrange pickup at specific times.

Great location, very well appointed
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for two weeks and used this as a base to travel to a few other places as well as enjoying the village life of the Bastide. It is certainly a great place to just chill out and feel a bit French.
