Exellent séjour dans un très bon hotel

Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Clean. Definietly would visit again.
Shower gel can't be reached by children.

Disappointing ☹️
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HotelsMy booking (through you) didn’t show up on their system and hotel was full so didn’t get my room until I returned from supper at 8pm.
The upgrade offered was a nice touch but meant it was a super hot sauna like room…v v uncomfortable and little sleep was had.
The restaurant staff are first glass as is the food and drink here.
Pool is tatty (I’ve not got super high standards) and changing rooms an absolute mess, but fun was had there so served a purpose.
I am booked to return (non refundable) and have requested a room which I know to be cooler.
Sorry to moan but the combo of the muck up at check in, another one at check out, and the sauna like bedroom weren’t ideal.

Swimming pool was cold was informed by staff that it was meant to be 30degrees so they said they would inform maintinence. Last time we stayed the pool was lovely and warm. Breakfast was ok as went early after early morning wet facilities session. Comfortable bed. Lovely quiet location close to the city and within walking distance. Perfect for a concert at Cardiff Castle. Good sized room. We will return.

Lovely hotel offering great service
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWe wanted a relaxinf family trip away and fortunately picked up Novotel Cardiff.
The first room allocated to us was in the older part of the hotel, next to main road and we couldnt sleep well overnight.
However, the very next day, upon requesting, it was changed to a lovely and spacious room in the adjoining new building.
Staff at the hotel are its main asset, friendly, smiling, helpful, always actively listening.
We found the bar and kitchen staff the best, Aaliya Khan was the perfect hostess in the mornings and the chef always appeared smiling, engaging and remembering food choices. Great food, always fresh and good healthy choices.
The gym, sauna , steam room and swimming pool were all great to use qnd allow a larger window through the day to use.
The hotel is literally a 15 min walk to the city centre and around 20 min walk to Cardiff Bay.

Room had everything we needed to make our visit to Cardiff a real pleasure. Everything was spotlessly clean.
The food was good and my grandson loved the pool.
I'd definitely recommend Novotel Cardiff Centre to anyone visiting the area.
