Disturbed sleep but great breakfast!
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HotelsSmall room but fairly comfortable. Old windows so outside noise but in a quiet village. The green emergency lighting in the room was so bright it lit the entire room up so I struggled to sleep. Breakfast was excellent pick what you want and served to you.

Booked a one night stay as plan last minute changed. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice and good quality. Just a small complaint felt the pillows were a bit lumpy and struggled to get to sleep. Also one of the mugs were chipped in the room All in all a good stay and probably stay again when in area

Lock problem and cold
Publié le 26 avr. 2024 sur HotelsThe lock to our room did not work properly (the door had to be slammed with great force to get the key to engage). We reported this on arrival, but there was no sign of a fix during our two-day stay. This problem meant we had to seek assistance each time we left our room.
Also the radiator was switched off when we arrived at circa 8pm, and the boiler was evidently switched off by that time as the heating did not come on when we turned the radiator on. So we shivered for the first evening,

lovely inn/hotel with decent room with ensuite.
problems with the room door which we couldnt lock overnight from the inside.

Great village pub with great staff.
Publié le 1 sept. 2023 sur HotelsThis was my third stay in as many months. This time room 1 wasn’t the biggest but the bed was comfortable.
The welcome from Pippa and service from Stuart was first class.
As for the food, well it was delicious.
I will stay for a fourth time if they will have me!
