Sorry that you had to wait for four minutes at the front desk for the reservation that was made by you at the last minute, right before you got to our property and Expedia had not even sent us your reservation thru, by then. When we asked you if you had the reservation number so we can check, you had mentioned that you were not even sure where you had booked your room. We are sorry that you were rude had no patience waiting for four minutes while we got your reservation thru Expedia.

Room was unhealthy - moldy and damp. Dingy. Request a refund. We did not check in.

Hi Michael,We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your experience. Our front desk offered an alternative room, which you declined, stating that "all the rooms are the same." Please note, we conducted a mold test which returned negative, and the humidity levels in the room were within recommended limits. Additionally, prior and subsequent guests have not reported any issues with that particular room.

We had no running water from about 12:00 at night till the time we left we couldn't even take a shower in the morning or flush the toilet.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. While the issue was beyond the motel's control, it was due to a water main break in Carlinville. Unfortunately, the city was initially unable to locate the source of the problem. We immediately contacted the police department, as the city office was closed at night, and they informed us that many residents had reported the issue. The city was able to resolve the problem around 7:30 AM. Once again, we apologize for any disruption this may have caused.

Large, clean, affordable room. While clearly an older facility based on decor and furnishings it did NOT have the tell tale smell of similarly old places. Easy access parking. Would stay again.

Very outdated property and rooms.

Everything was so old and battered. The smell was musty and stale. For the money there was no value. It is no wonder there are no refunds, because I would have left as soon as I saw the room. The TV was very low rent.

We are sorry that you did not like the room. Our motel is an older property but very clean, and we take pride in our cleaning here.The tv in all our rooms are 32 inches and flat screen. If you did not like the room you could have come to the front desk right away, after checking in, as you did not like our room, and we would have gladly refunded your room rent, yet you decided to stay the night and give us a poor review. No where at our property have we displayed or posted signs of "No refunds " policy, like you are claiming here.
