As nice hotel just outside the railway station and on the A6 main road into Carlisle it was easy to find. Instructions for finding the car park would help.

Great spot in the city, my wife and I only stayed the night but it was a good area to rest in. Room was a bit dusty so heads up if you have any allergies. Noise was to be in expected in that area, the breakfast was great and made the stay definitely worth while for the price.

I regulary stay at the County hotel when passing through Carlisle as it is located in the city centre, offers free parking and the staff could not be more helpful, Bryony on reception is a credit to the hotel team
Would recomend the County hotel to any traveller

Booked a triple room for myself and 2 friends to visit Cumbria Pride. The hotel was the cheapest available which initially concerned me however all concerns were gone after arriving. Ample car parking available, friendly staff and room was comfortable and clean. My only comment is that the bathroom could benefit from a little refurb to be more appeasing to guests expectations and room didn't get replenished during our stay
Would definitely book here if visiting again
