ENTIRE PLACE. This is a private quiet studio completely separate with no shared areas.

Located “downtown” Carlisle. From here you can follow Rt. 225 East to Bedford and Lexington or West to Westford & Littleton and is close proximity to Routes 128, 495 and 3. A short 33 minute drive to Boston. Close to historic downtown Concord's shops/restaurants. 1.6 miles to Hiking/bike trails of Great Brook Farm State Park.

The space
ENTIRE PLACE:
500sf of beautifully renovated and furnished studio offers a hidden private entrance, and a kitchenette for light meals: Full sized stainless steel fridge, microwave, Keurig, dishes and utensils, double basin sink. Note: no stove.

Charming pub table anchors your dining space.

There is an en suite full bath with sink, toilet, and shower.

Large desk with plenty of room to spread out for your workspace.
Cable TV and high speed WiFi Internet access.

The Queen sized bed is comfortable (not too hard, not too soft)

Cute barn
What a cute place! The location is amazing. We only stayed 1 night & my 12 year old would love to come back. It’s easy to miss the parking & also the barn doors at first but we figured it out. There is work being done on the side of it & even though the directions were clear from the owner, you can pass the parking if you blink your eyes lol the bathroom door is a little tough to open/close & I think the lightbulb was out in the bathroom but overall it was great. The bed is super comfy. Would come back here

Our best VRBO stay ever
It was a great stay. Carlisle is only a little enjoyable drive to Cambridge and we don't have to pay the outrageous hotel rates in the city during the graduation week. The room was super clean and nicely equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and we had great sleep. Carlisle and the surrounding towns are all super quiet and nice, we wish we had more time to explore the places near by. The owner was very kind and great to communicate with. Will stay again if we travel there.

Great for a short stay while I had house renovations.
Very pretty area. Close to great walks in the outdoors and quiet. My dog loved the area. You can walk 3 minutes to a corner deli market and get sandwiches, coffee and pastries and sit in or out.

Great place, it was very clean and well put together. There was a huge snow storm and the hosts made sure the driveway was cleared and even emailed to check in on us to make sure we were doing well during the storm. Would definitely come again.

Two Night Stay for Visit to Concord/Lexington
Staying at Julie's Barn Suite help made our trip to Concord & Lexington pleasant and relaxing - Julie was excellent in her communication and made us feel welcomed! The room was clean, spacious, and included a number of amenities - coffee/tea, Keurig, toaster oven, dish ware, extra bed linens and towels, small oscillating fan, full size refrigerator. The pull out couch was perfect for our 7 year old - she said it was "cozy" and had no trouble going to sleep. Julie provided clear instructions about the check-in and check-out process, as well helpful suggestions for local restaurants - check out Sorrento's Pizza in Concord and the Kimball Farm Ice Cream Stand in Carlisle. We'd definitely recommend staying at the Barn Suite and will look to stay there again if we're ever back in the area!

Safe Convenient Comfy Inviting
Julie's "barn" is actually a very quiet peaceful comfy "get-a-way". Maintaining the outside facade. So it appears to be barn, she's re- modeled with all the modern conveniences one would expect. Julie works very hard to keep everything clean and fresh. As a host she's is very friendly and responsive and as easy going and easy to work with as you could I hope for. Julie works hard and deserves and earns nothing but the higest recommendation.

Unique Stay
This is a unique stay. Communication was excellent and gracious. Can't beat the area and the country store right around the corner. Excellent food. The suite itself was immaculate. A+ I have a cleaning business and am very particular. The bed and linens were very comfortable and nice quality. Coffee/tea bar. Cute decor and really everything you need. You can tell owner takes pride and care of the suite. While the online description was spot on, I was expecting something a little more airy and light filled. The suite is on bottom floor of an old barn with very little natural light or airflow. Has a redone basement feel. Plenty of recessed lights really helped to brighten the place. The bathroom size is fine but extremely damp/musty smelling and off putting.. There was an adequate AC, air purifier and dehumidifier to help mitigate the stuffiness which helped. Not sure there is an easy solution as it seems structural not a cleanliness issue. The host clearly takes good care of the suite. Perhaps during colder seasons it's less of an issue. I am sensitive to fresh air flow and natural light but if it's not something that concerns you, it is a unique stay in a central location.
