Perfect spot on the edge of the Lakes National Par
Publié le 1 avr. 2024 sur HotelsA really lovely cabin in a great area. Owners stay out of your way and there's loads of space inside. The animals outside are super-friendly and a big hit with the kids. Only slight gripe is the beds are quite narrow and very squeaky! (Or at least ours was)
It is a genuinely lovely place to spend a break.

Thanks for your lovely review - we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the kids liked our lovely animals. We are sorry you found the beds not quite to your satisfaction - they are standard double beds in two of the rooms and standard singles in the other room - the size is somewhat dictated by the rooms. As for the squeak, we can only apologise - it's not a comment we've received previously but we will check out the beds and see if we can sort it!

Amazing find - idyllic setting
Publié le 1 juill. 2023 sur HotelsWe had a fabulous time. Emily was so helpful - what a warm welcome we got on arrival, with some lovely touches of country life. Free range farm eggs available on request - they were delicious and a must!
Lodge was very clean and fresh. It was an idyllic setting to relax and also had lots of things to do with a short car drive away.
The hot tub and sauna were amazing too.
Lots of animals and wildlife to enjoy too - being out in the countryside was good for our souls.
Highly recommend a visit.

Hidden Gem
Publié le 11 avr. 2022 sur HotelsEnjoyed a few days at Greenview. Warm welcome complimentary local milk and freshly baked cake. Lodge spotless. Enjoyed freshly laid free range eggs at breakfast. There are donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens. Pet friendly and on site spa, with hot tube and sauna. A hidden gem, on our visit to the lakes.
