Great location and hosts!
Strong communication throughout with the hosts so there were no surprises. The location is amazing right across from the beach with a great view of sunset. Lots of little amenities within the house showing the amount of thought and care put in for guests to maximize stay. The place is very spacious as we had 9 in beds (6 adults; 3 toddlers), and one in a pack and play, and we all had plenty of space. Highly recommend for those going to Carlsbad.

Great place
Had a great visit at this property. In town for a college graduation and was looking for a place close to the beach that had space for everyone. Bar area, living and family rooms, big kitchen and nice outdoor areas made it perfect for us. 1 of the bedrooms was off the master bathroom which was odd. For us, it was not an issue. House was VERY clean and the kitchen had tons of flatware, dishes and glassware. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Would definitely stay here again.

This house is amazingly beautiful!!! My sister's and I stayed and it was such a blessing waking up with the view of the beach at our front door! The neighborhood is wonderful. Host replies to all inquiries quickly, and there is a ton of space for you and your family/friends to truly enjoy yourselves!!!

Awesome home for a relaxing vacation!
Our family from Wisconsin and Connecticut stayed here before/after a wedding reception and enjoyed the whole place! It was a short walk to the beach and the beach toys and boogie board was great fun for the kids. They also created a “restaurant” with the bar area taking orders for drinks and snacks to serve to the adults😜. They loved the bunk beds and the oldest granddaughter loved having her own room with a balcony. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Neal responded quickly to any questions or issues. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home!

Our family had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 80th birthday. The house is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The host is terrific! We even learned a new board game left by the host that was fun.

Wonderful Stay
My family had a wonderful time staying at this home. The property was beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. It had dishes, utensils, refrigerator, bbq grill, an amazing hot tub, great TV’s and plenty of space!! We had a blast!! It really was the perfect place to stay with our considerably large family. My husband accidentally left his ID and credit card. The owners recovered them both and went out of their way to make sure we got them back. Holistically, it was a magnificent property, and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Great house. For a family that likes to eat at home kitchen could have been better stocked. i e. utensils, kitchen ware. A word of caustion many steps. Could be challenging for seniors . Hot tub did not heat and only a few jets worked. But overall it was a FABULOUS 6 days.

Great House
Great location and plenty of space for our family of 11. This house is just what we were looking for. The large table accommodated the whole family which was a plus for us. Outdoor shower was a plus to rinse off any sand. Clean, beautiful, comfortable and included everything we would need. 10 minute walk to beach.Beautiful view of beach/ocean just a view steps away with benches. Host responded very quickly to any questions prior to our arrival and easy to reach during our stay.

Carlsbad family vacation
We stayed in early June for a week. Great location near the beach. Clean and spacious property. 6-8 minutes walk to the beach. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the beach. Easy walk to town with good restaurants. The property manager was easy to reach and responsive.

Wonderful Beach House
The home was perfect for our family weekend get together. Five spacious bedrooms and an abundance of living space made this a very comfortable stay for us all. Fabulous Carlsbad Beach House
A fantastic house. Very clean and well appointed, it had everything our family needed from the kitchen to great hot tub. Amazing ocean views! The 5th bedroom is located in/through the primary suite - which worked just fine for our family but it wasn’t clear from the profile. The property manager was available and very responsive (thanks!!). Will definitely rent this property again!

Amazing Stay, Right on the Beach
Our family had a great stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday! The property had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy, and was a very easy walk to a beautiful beach, where we spent a lot of time. The Village was close and had many food options, which was great for the nights we decided not to cook in. As an added bonus, our young son (a soccer fanatic) loved watching the World Cup games at the bar. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend away with our family and our close friends. We had three kids and four adults and there was plenty of space. The kitchen is great and right next to a common area for the kids to relax while we prepared meals. Also lots of beach supplies and an outdoor shower to rise off. We rented a golf cart for getting back and forth from the beach to avoid sand in the car, its walkable but the golf cart was lots of fun. I highly recommend staying here :)

Agree with other reviews - house is easy to pop into for a few days of fun in Carlsbad. Spa huge plus. You can hear that wonderful wave action from the ocean. Someone mentioned trains …. we heard one each morning which was kinda nice for us. On quiet cul de sac. Bedroom configuration is one gigantic room that has access to a walk-in closet, an enormous bathroom & a personal addon bedroom (great for those with a baby or toddler), one room with 2 reasonably sized bunk beds, & then 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom between them. All upstairs. My only suggestion is that a comfy reading chair in the SW corner of the large room would be wonderful!!!!

We love this Carlsbad home!
We have stayed in this home before and we returned because we love the home and location. Great family beach vacation!! We rented golf carts to take us to the beach and into town. This made it even more fun. Neil was an amazing host and responded quickly to all our questions and needs.

Great for large families!
We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our extended family group. The house is roomy enough for everyone to have their own space. Nice neighbors, well-stocked home with shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, plenty of spices for cooking and all the beach accessories you could need! The kids loved the hot tub and the outdoor shower. Property owner was responsive and helpful. A great place to stay in Carlsbad!
