I'm so glad we booked Fiddler's Inn! We had the Sailor's Hornpipe room and it was wonderfully cozy but not too small. The room is down a set of stairs and there's plenty of room for two suitcases near the front door so you don't need to walk everything down. The bed was comfortable and the welcome cookies were delicious! Easy safe parking right outside on the street. The bakery where you get the breakfast coupon was half a block away and had plenty of options. We spent a little bit more than the amount you're given but we decided to splurge a bit. Would stay again!!

Although the room was comfortable enough, there were no windows and it was very dark. The location was on a busy street.

Great in and out to Carlsbad. Loved the restaurants with discount card. Only thing I would suggest is more lighting. Room was very dark and lighting challenged. Meaning light available shined in eyes. Light near couch lamp not working. Hot tub was not advertised like on reviews but water (rainfall) was way down for the year. Great stay but be mindful of the small things people notice.

Wonderful Place
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWhat a great find in Carlsbad. The house was easy to find, the parking was right in front of the house, and the room was outstanding. The owner worked with us on a minor issues, not her fault (water main broken) and she was easy to reach and communicate with.
We had a small studio apartment in the back of the property. Included a small kitchen, large refrigerator, sofa, chair, small table, king size bed and bathroom. The room was in great shape, clean and inviting.
The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets if you need them. The unit was well supplied, with things like plates, wine glasses, towels and paper. She left chocolate next to the bed, coffee on the counter and chocolate chip cookies on the table. :)
The house is surrounded by businesses, but more like dentist offices and such, all closed by the time we arrived and not an issues. Two doors down was a bakery, which you are given a credit to get breakfast. Outstanding food.
My number one choice for the area if I were to return in the future.
