Dead flys in room and got down graded when we complained

Dear Paul, We apologise for the issue with flies in the room you had booked. As we are on marshland, once the farmers start spreading, we do sometimes have an issue with cluster flies. Once you brought this to our attention, we sorted the issue and offered you another room. We apologise for the room downgrade, this was the only room we had available at the time. As an apology, we gave you and your partner a 25 minute complimentary treatment of your choice and a bottle of wine with your evening meal. We hope this doesn't deter you from visiting us in the future. Kindest regards Team Corran

Amazing experience

This was a difficult stay for us as we had bad news to share. But the stay made it so easy for us to deal with the situation. Sam was amazing with my daughter and the staff overall were amazing. The food was out of this world and the mocktails were amazing. Thank you to everyone who worked on Friday the 20th through to Saturday 21st.

The hotel and surrounding area are lovely. The food was great. The service was pretty poor thought. The staff were nice but there weren't nearly enough of them and they were poorly trained. On Sunday morning we were at our table for 30 mins before getting any food. Shame. The spa treatments were great though.

Not a 4 star hotel!!

A poor excuse for a Hotel and Spa Resort. Shouldn't be rated 4 star. Lovely staff but run off their feet so rooms not very clean and long waiting times in the restaurant and bringing the wrong order. Only one veggie option which was very bland and not worth £12.95! The spa consisted of a small pool and a very small sauna, that's it! So sad as it is in a lovely setting but there was no one in charge and it looks there's very little money being spent on its upkeep and being run in to the ground. Definitely won't be going back or indeed recommending it to anyone.
