From check in we were greeted warmly. As we were on a motorbike trip the offer of garage parking for the bikes was very much appreciated. This is a major plus for me. Breakfast was great. The retro feel of the place is all part of its natural charm. This is an individual family run guest house, not an anonymous chain. Well recommended.

As soon as we got there we was greeted with poor service and spoken to extremely rude upon seeing the roon we was absolutely disgusted as there was dust/dirt on everything the window was cracked and could easily cut someone themselfs and the room also had a fire door to escape which my four year old daughter tried to exit through. All in all was a terible experience will not go back there again.

This couple reserved a twin bedroom for 2 adults. They arrived at reception with a very energetic 4 year old child. When I mentioned that the room was only reserved for 2 adults she told me that she was the customer and I should do what she requested. I then showed them to the room and they were there for 5 minutes before leaving to meet family.They returned 1 hour later saying they were going to stay with her parents and wanted a refund. I gave them 70.00 which was more than they paid.When leaving she shouted that she was going to leave a very bad review.After they checked out I inspected the room and there was no dirt or dust, they must have liked our towels though as one went with them.We apologise for the small crack in the corner of the large window but it has no sharp edges.As for the fire door many of my regular customers request that bedroom as they can sit outside on the platform and use it as a balcony.
