Un petit hôtel dans le centre de Carmel

Un petit hôtel parfaitement rénové au centre de Carmel. Par contre chambre supérieure de luxe avec cheminée minuscule (25m2 max) ce qui est très petit Chambre parfaitement équipée avec tout le confort et les accessoires, salle de bain de bon confort. Par contre aucun parking à disposition, donc ne pas arriver le samedi : impossible à garer car le centre est piétonnier. Petit dej très agréable et bon. Par contre en arrivant à 16h et n’ayant pas déjeuner, pus avons commandé sur la carte dans le patio une assiette de fromages et 1 café: 19$ hors tax et services soit 26$ ttcuniquement pour l’assiette où il y avait à l’intérieur 2 minuscules tranches de Comté ( 1 mm d’épaisseur) et 1 morceau de camembert ( environ 1/12 d’un camembert classique) 6 crackers et un petite cuillère de marmelade. C est scandaleux pour le prix À 100 m de l’hôtel se trouve une boutique de fromage français et cela revient beaucoup moins cher Le personnel de réception n’est pas très agréable, le personnel du petit dej est sympathique lui

La Petit Pali in Summer

The good: great location, within walking distance of everything in Carmel. The room was very clean and well decorated. The bad; no parking.This can be a real problem. I know a lot of inns located in Carmel don't have much parking but a lot do; Pine Inn, Coachman Inn, Carriage House, Wayside Inn to name a few. Also, this place can be noisy. Make sure you stay upstairs. They have ear plugs in the room for a reason.

Many of our guests enjoy the residential feel of Le Petit Pali at 8th Avenue and find street parking, but we also have our sister property, Le Petit Pali at Ocean Avenue, that has a small parking area such as you've described if that is your priority. Fantastic stay. Very friendly staff and lovely French vibes in all areas of this delightful hotel. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Nice European style complimentary breakfast. Walls were a bit thin, and we could hear our neighbors in the middle of the night, hence the provided ear plugs were a thoughtful touch. Every aspect of the room was well thought out and the bathroom had Diptyque products… ooh la la! Great location, walk to shops, restaurants and ocean. Already planning our next stay!

We really liked the room and, especially the bed. The room was quiet and clean and nicely large. When we arrived, we could not find a parking space nearby and the host moved his car so that we could park very close to the entrance. We enjoyed our first breakfast; service was quite good. The breakfast on our second day did not go well, because there were too many people for the staff to handle. We eventually got our tea and juice and the other breakfast items were supplied. Parking is a big problem. And some sidewalks are dirt paths. On the positive side, again, all the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. We especially are grateful to the manager who helped us with TV problems and recommended two very good restaurants for dinners. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Hotel has no dedicated parking, and somewhat difficult to find parking nearby. Requested early checkin but was unable to check in until 4pm
