This spotless eco-friendly studio has a comfy Queen Bed with Luxury Linens, "Life Source" Whole - House filtered water System, and is cleaned with organic products.

Remodeled Tuckaway's hand-hewn hickory floors and oriental carpets are just some of the examples of our attention to detail.New Granite counters in kitchen & bath with all new fixtures & stone floor in bath.

Come and be enchanted in the landscaped gardens with covered sitting bench that are very private. The gardens include a lit fountain, Over 1,200 sq. ft. of Custom Inlaid Brick Patio with Ocean & Beach Views. Custom Wood/Gas Raised Brick Fire pit, Teak Lounges and a settee to enjoy in the sun or evenings with native plants and well placed low voltage lighting casting a special glow. Great stay in Beautiful Carmel!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Bill was a great host. The studio was very comfortable and the grounds were just beautiful! Although we were busy in Carmel, it was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy some cheese and wine.

Beautiful and cozy
This is our 4th time staying at one of Bill's properties (Atherton Cottage previously). This was our first time staying in this studio cottage. It was all absolutely stunning, especially the outside grounds. It's all so impressive, thoughtfully designed and so peaceful. Perfect Carmel Getaway: Exceptional Hospitality and a Pristine Retreat
Our stay in Carmel was absolutely perfect, and we owe much of that to our wonderful host, Bill. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Bill had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment itself was an ideal retreat for a couple—cozy, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The attention to detail was impeccable. The grounds surrounding the apartment were pristine and provided a serene environment that made our time there even more special. We truly appreciated all of Bill’s helpful information about the area, which made our exploration of Carmel even more enjoyable. Great stay, beautiful private patio
The studio is attached to the bottom level of the main house but is a private, independent space. While it is small, it has everything you need. It is perfect for a couple to get away. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor patio is beautiful and is private (not shared) to the rest of the property. Check in process is with Bill, the host, so not contactless (just FYI). Bill was a great host. My husband and I and our two small dogs enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Property
A truly unique location nestled in the heart of Carmel. I would recommend this property to anybody new to the area, the landscaping is so meticulous. The owner was extremely kind. This is a true Paradise within a Paradise.

Beautiful Little Cottage
We enjoyed our stay so much here! The cozy cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The patio was huge and had a view of the ocean. We would’ve loved to have enjoyed sitting there with a cup of coffee in the morning but weather was cool and overcast. Can’t have everything! If we’re ever in Carmel again, we would definitely try to stay here!

This was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs. All four of us loved the outdoor space, which allowed the pups to roam in a contained environment. The grounds are spacious and lovely, with lots of places to sit and enjoy. The insides are nice, too! Well-appointed and thoughtfully designed. Snug, but just right for two adults. This may well be our new go-to spot for weekends (and weekdays) in Carmel.

We had a nice stay. The location is convenient to shops and town as well as beach. The neighborhood is quiet. Our dog loved the little patio area. The host was prompt and helpful. There had been a billing issue which he rapidly remedied without issue. I was surprised by the final price but I am a novice to VRBO. The place was very clean, nice towels. Provided dishes, oven, lots of conveniences. Only thing I was disappointed by was no shampoo and conditioner so had to pick up myself.
