Une notice d information du fonctionnement électrique en français serait la bienvenue.

Très bon emplacement
Publié le 13 août 2023 sur HomeAwayTrès jolie plage à proximité, et balades sur les rochers de granite. Pas reçu les informations pour l’arrivée mais très bon accueil sur place avec l’aide des voisins. Inconvénients : maison un peu humide et système de paiement de l’électricité avec des pièces de 2€ qui s’éteint rapidement en cours de journée. Bon point de départ pour balades ds le Connemara.

We do send written directions, gps coordinates, caretaker contact details and eircodes of cottage prior to arrival so guests can be familier with the cottage location and their surroundings. Yes there is a coin meter but the caretaker leaves the coins for the meter. Should you wish to return in the future please do not hesitate to contact us

Carna Cottage
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. There are electric blankets in the bed to help with the dampness. Not really sure if the water is drinkable. Martin the owner said it is but we boiled it or drank bottled water since it had a pinkish colour coming out of the faucet. Martin is a very friendly, generous, kind man who made our stay more comfortable.

We will relay your feedback to the property owner with recommendations to address any damp present. . As per the property's digital guide due to the nature of the Connemara landscape, particles of peat, or a peat tint may sometimes be visible in the water. While the water is safe for bathing and cooking, guests may prefer to use bottled water for drinking. Electricity is included in the rental price with coins left for your use. Aside of this we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back in the future.

Kalt und Dunkel ohne Heizung und ohne Strom
Publié le 29 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayLeider musste man für Strom und Heizung ständig Coins einwerfen. Beides sollte im Mietpreise enthalten sein, die bereitgestellten coins reichten gerade mal für einen Tag.
1 Stunde Heizen 2€.Strom genauso.
Kochen, Duschen ohne Strom nicht möglich. Somit erhebliche mehr Kosten.
Der Ofen ließ sich nicht betreiben da der Rauch nicht abzog.
Die gesamte Cottage roch nach Schimmel was auch durch Lüften nicht zu beheben war. Das Aussenlicht brannte die ganze Nacht und Kostete Strom der dann unter der Dusche fehlte.
Die Heizung im Bad wurde nicht warm.
Also Leider ein reinfall.

It may have been you were using incorrectly and had you contacted us we would of course had this rectified immediately for you.We were unaware of mould and this has been checked and rectified. Perfect location
Publié le 7 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a great week in the property. An excellent base for exploring the Gaeltacht and all the fantastic beaches a stones throw away. Colm was extremely helpful and generous and we would definitely book again.
