Great place for a family vacation

Great house
Publié le 1 août 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a big group- two families that stayed here. House was great. Very clean and was a really nice space. It was warm upstairs at night. Some box fans to put in windows would be helpful. It did have stand fans that helped. Kitchen was gorgeous. Would stay here again.

Fantastic House
Publié le 16 mars 2021 sur HomeAwayThis house is an exquisite mountain house! Location is great in Carnelian Bay, and the pictures accurately show how nice it is. It was perfectly clean and was outfitted with everything we needed inside the house! It has been beautifully updated, and everything functioned perfectly. The property managers were very resposive to questions, check in was seamless.
We heartily recommend this Vrbo house!

Dirty house!
Publié le 15 oct. 2020 sur HomeAwayThis rental has a lot of potential, but it needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. After checking in, I walked into the master bathroom to find glob of toothpaste on the floor. The floor and shower were filthy. There was dirt on the floor and hair on the walls and floor of the shower. The microwave had not been cleaned, the kitchen glass pendant was full of smudged fingerprints, there was blood on the upstairs comforter, dense cobwebs in the house and on the outdoor patio, and a piece of door molding laying on a coffee table. There was also no propane in the BBQ.
We called the management company and asked them to address the problems immediately, but did not hear from there for three days. When they finally called- we were checking out the next day. Nice timing!
They did not address my concerns until we had checked out and stated since I didn't send them numerous photos (I did send one of the bathroom floor) there was nothing they could do since their housecleaners said it was clean. They could have asked for the photos while we were still at the house, or better yet they could have come seen for themselves.
We do not recommend renting this house, especially during COVID.

We're so sorry for the issues you experienced. However, one of our company owners inspected the house with 2 new employees immediately prior to your arrival and none of the issues you listed were noted by any of them. That's not to say they couldn't have overlooked something, but providing more than 1 photo would have been prudent. Also, as mentioned in our belated call back to you, we were unaware of your call due to an unfortunate mistake by one of our new employees. We sincerely apologize for our untimely follow up as that is not our usual procedure. We certainly would have come over to assess the situation ourselves if we had been aware of your call. For the record, renters who stayed shortly after you (booked on another platform) noted in their review how "spic and span" the property was and highly recommended it to others. We're very sorry that your experience was not the same.

Enjoyed our stay
Publié le 20 juill. 2020 sur HomeAwayGood location if you're looking to explore west/north shore. First floor looks newly updated, second floor where the bedrooms are a bit older but still comfortable. No A/C but not bad in the summer if you leave the windows open.
