Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The cottage is located perfectly; being close to the beach, boardwalk, lake, and restaurants but still in a quiet, cozy part of town. The cottage is extremely clean and the linens are crisp and clean, too. The fenced in backyard is secure and private and perfect for dogs and kids. Lots of things to do around town and the beaches are well kept. Gorgeous landscaping with beautiful palms and lilies. This place is a must stay if you’re looking for a memorable beach experience.

Absolute Pawfection!
Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayHad an absolute blast staying at the little green cottage! Close to all that Carolina Beach has to offer and absolutely perfect for those who travel with pets! The owners really good above and beyond to make sure that you and your pup feel right at home. Fenced yard was great so our Husky could run around. The outside shower/hose was great for cleaning up paws/feet after spending all day at the beach! Prime location with Carolina Beach Lake Park being so close! Short drive from Carolina Beach State Park - yet another perfect place to walk your dog! I’ve never seen our Husky so tired before. We had a blast!

Tropical Storm!
Publié le 26 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe weather didn’t cooperate, but the house sure did! Hosts were amazing and communicative, and the home was perfect for my girlfriend, our dog, and I. Definitely recommend a golf cart and/or bikes because this cottage is close to everything! Had an epic time. Will be back.

Publié le 24 août 2023 sur HomeAwayAesthetically the place is cute and appeared clean. The location is good with a few minute walk to the beach. Upon arrival we notice the front door latch seemed broke and the door for the fenced in back yard was broken. Making each space not so dog friendly. When we turned on the water it smelt like sewage every time. The water needed to run for about 5 minutes before this odor subsided. This includes the sinks and the indoor and outdoor showers. The floor/foundation also seemed questionable in a few spots feeling like it was giving in and obviously angled in a few areas.

Thank you for your feedback! We have repaired the latches on both the front deck and back yard fence so this won't be an issue for future guests. The smell unfortunately is normal for all of Carolina Beach, but it comes and goes infrequently. We don’t have any control and have done all we can at the property to help remedy the smell. It is caused by the city water and their treatment process. The chemical levels have been tested and are not harmful. We hope to host you again in the future!
