Million dollar view

Great get away
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an outing for my 86 yr old Mom. She had a wonderful time. On our way home she kept saying, " can we just turn around and stay longer".
We had a small hiccup upon arrival but the hosts immediately helped us through it. We hope to go back next year. ❤️

Wish we could have stayed longer

Beach relaxing
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayUnit was nice except for issue with washer and dryer which wasn’t solved by the time we left. Great view of the ocean. Parking is bad. They charge you to park just about everywhere you go. Limit restaurants. No good seafood restaurants. Great ice cream especially Swigley’s

We appreciate your review and candid feedback. On the washer and dryer issue we strived to resolve that during your stay, but unfortunately fell short. Refunded a portion of your booking to try and resolve that and also offered to have your clothes cleaned. It's a first to hear that you weren't able to find satisfiable restaurants in the area, especially for Carolina Beach. Parking at the beach is always a challenge but I'm sure you would agree that and perceived restaurant quality are outside the condo owners control.

Holiday Stay
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family stayed for the week of 4th of July. Although the weather wasn’t great, the condo provided exactly what we needed. Beautiful views of the ocean, indoor and outdoor pools were great for the kids. It’s close to many restaurants and activities in the area. The only drawback was having to use a key card to get into and out of the beach and pools. With only two cards, it made it difficult for a family of 7 to navigate getting around the facility.

Deceiving/Disappointing
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe reviews and pictures were not accurate, as they indicated pristine, very clean, responsive host. none of this was accurate. The floors were dirty, the furniture sandy/dirty (not stained as i cleaned for over 2 hours after arriving and was able to make the furniture suitable for my family to sit on, the kitchen sink had not been cleaned in some time even though there were several cleaners available under the sink, the bedroom sliding glass door was seperated from the glass, and wouldnt open properly until we greased it, the living room sliding door was unlocked and opened. We were not provided the app information for the remote access for the keypad which failed to open the door upon returning from the grocery store at 11 one evening- no return phone calls from host, property manager and finally the Fire Department was able to shim the door at 12:45 am, followong email from host apologies as she went to bed early. All of which is unacceptable. Location, views and roominess of condo were great.

Shocked and disappointed by Yvonne's comments. Property is always highly reviewed and she never contacted us about any of her issues and concerns. No evidence that any were accurate and rest assured if they were we would have immediately addressed. The problem that Yvonne had entering her code correctly Was unfortunate period however she never reached out to us through VRBO or call the number related to my account. To other potential guests who may be reading this please use VRBO when responding or communicating with your host and raise any issues as they come up so that your host can address them.
