Winter get away
Publié le 3 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayThe pictures do it justice. The view was wonderful, unfortunately it was foggy most of our stay but it did clear one evening and we could see the bridge. Its location was secluded and quiet. It was big enough that our family of 6 with adult children didn’t feel crowded. The kitchen was functional and had all we needed. When I did contact the owner with a question they were quick to respond. The wood burner on the porch was really a highlight for our family. Would recommend.

Peaceful, restful getaway

Lovely Place

Slept in comfort. Enjoyed the birds (Hope the sandhill youngster's wing healed ):-(
We saw the northern lights on our last night. Hooray!
Don was prompt in replying to our request to douse the outdoor lights at night. Perfect!
Second bedroom could use a bedside light.

Beautiful location!

It's an easy drive to Mackinaw City, the dark sky park, and the Wilderness park. The house is a little "quirky", but comfortable, and the view from the sunporch is amazing. We would stay here again if we ever come back this way!

Hidden gem
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery well kept place. Superb views from almost every room. Donald was very responsive and helpful. We had to reduce our duration post booking but prior to the start of the stay on a busy Labor day weekend but Donald was flexible and accommodating.
Will definitely rebook again.
