Visiting Old Florida
Publié le 2 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view from two decks. There is no swimming as the beach is mucky, but the long dock was good for us. We had to drive a bit to most dining and services. Angelos Seafood in Panacea was worth the drive and very nice. Fathoms and Red Pirate Grill were rustic but the food was also very good. Skip St. James Bay Gulf. We enjoyed visiting the Military Museum, St. George Island, and shopping in Apalachicola. The location is quiet and everything in Old Florida was very laid back. Nice little vacation.

Great Views

Parking is convenient and close to the elevator
Nice long pier that extends out into the water to fish off of
Cons- Complex sets right on busy highway(98) and you can
hear a fair amount of traffice noise during the day.
Not so bad at night.
The beach is more of a bay type beach vs the type of
beach you will find on St. George Island.

Weekend Getaway

We walked the dock in the mornings and saw a ton of stingrays and even a small hammerhead shark! Beach is sort of small but it was still nice to sit out there for the day and relax. I highly recommend this place!

Peaceful
Publié le 17 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThis condo was absolutely beautiful! Very roomy, clean and comfortable. It was also a very peaceful place. The two decks had beautiful views. If you are looking for a lot of action, this is not the place as it is not near any big towns. But it was beautiful and close to small towns with great food!

We loved the electric recliner!! Need to get one for our home! The absolute quiet was refreshing and re-energizing!! The only thing we didn't care for was our time ran out and we had to go home!!
