Peaceful garden setting
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a terrific stay is this peaceful, quiet garden setting. Near enough to larger cities for us to explore on a day trip, but secluded and quiet. We had a relaxing few nights and enjoyed the warm hospitality.

Great home base for our birding trip
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second stay at Bobolink, and it hasn't changed a bit in the 9 years between. That's both good and not-so-good, as everything we liked is still there, but it's looking rather worn also. But while this is not a luxury accommodation, it is comfortable, clean and convenient to multiple wildlife refuges and birding drive loops, as well as close enough to "civilization" for supplies or dining. The grounds are lovely, even early in the season before the flowers are blooming. The owner lives on site and is fast to respond to communication, which facilitated quick resolution of an issue we had early in our stay. I would stay here again if doing another trip to this area!

Relaxing Getaway

Cozy, comfortable, and welcoming!
Publié le 6 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a delightful time at Pipestem Creek. We rented both houses for a family reunion. Both homes were comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the rural location. And we especially enjoyed seeing a moose each day as he roamed the nearby fields! We highly recommend Ann’s properties. We realized after we arrived that we had been there before when she sold edible bird feeders and houses! Collette the caretaker was delightful and helpful. Thank you so much!

Big, beautiful wide open property!

I really liked how the house was decorated, lots of old antiques gave it a very cozy warm atmosphere.
There wasn't anything I didn't like and I would highly recommend this property.
