Magnifique hôtel, chambre et service passables

Magnifique hôtel, particulièrement cette piscine, entourée de belle végétation tropicale, et de ce vestige de mur qui est devenu le symbole de l'hôtel. Notre chambre était très grande, mais également très sombre (208, nous l'éviterions si nous avions à y retourner). Nous avons trouvé le service en Colombie assez moyen en général, et cet hôtel ne déroge pas à la règle : plusieurs questions et services que nous avons demandés ont été tout bonnement oubliés ou ignorés par les employés, qui n'ont pas su non plus nous renseigner sur plusieurs points basiques de la visite de Carthagène. Décevant pour un 5*. L'hôtel est fréquenté par beaucoup de touristes nord américains qui parlent fort et se croient chez eux. Concernant Carthagène : ses plages ne sont pas belles (à moins d'aller aux îles du Rosario évidemment, qui elles sont superbes). Et la ville est évidemment un bijou d'architecture coloniale, et regorge de bons restos et bars à cocktails, mais est également assez oppressante, avec beaucoup de sollicitations en permanence, que ce soit des rabatteurs de bars ou des mendiants. Le resto de l'hôtel, Alma, est très bon.

Beautiful rooms but poor service

Nice hotel with very confortable and Well designed room. The shower especially is beautiful. Bad things concern the service which is the worst i had in Colombia. No one able to answer basic questions to organize visits. Breakfast was good but veryyyy slow . Mixed feeling about this hotel.

My wife and I recent stay at the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The attention to service (maid, concierge, bellman) was outstanding and we’re looking to coming back soon!
