The room had hair that wasnt mine in several different places, the toilet had stains, the condiment packets for codfee were already open, and it was pretty noisy. The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. Nothing close other than casino. Drove to Dyersburg just to have something other than fast food.

The hotel is nicely remolded with casino across parking lot. The room was good except tv wouldn’t come on even after changing batteries. Maintenance was offered but declined because it was so late.

Nice hotel. Underwhelming staff.
We really liked the lobby and room/bathroom. I would just say the front desk staff was underwhelming. Not quick to greet. No thank you for staying with them. In fact, I went to the front desk this morning to check out and could barely get her to look at me or acknowledge me when I asked if there was anything I needed to do. I thanked her and told her to have a nice day and she didn’t respond. Things like that, go a long way when they’re done well. They just didn’t have excellent customer service/warmth.

I have two basic requirements for a hotel stay to be a positive experience. It must have a comfortable bed and a good shower. The bed at this hotel was the worst I have slept on in quite a while, and I am a frequent traveler. Both sides of the bed had indentations where people normally sleep and it was almost impossible to find a position that felt level and properly supported. It was also one of the softest mattresses I have ever had at a hotel. I had driven a long way that day and just wanted a comfortable bed to crash in. The mattress made it very difficult to fall asleep. The shower had decent pressure, but it was an open design shower where the open side is half glass and half open to the bathroom. No sliding doors or shower curtains. It looks nice, but the shower is too small for this type of design which means water ends up splashed all over the bathroom floor. Not good. My initial impression of the hotel was very positive, but if it can't meet basic requirements what's the point. Maybe focus more on core comfort issues and less on style.
