Dock and at water experience was great. Deck furniture was tired and cushions were not welcoming as covers have holes and rips so not completely covered prior to arrival. Sleeps 12 is a real stretch as needed to sleep some on air mattresses which was less than ideal. Main bathroom toilet was dirty upon arrival. Garage great room was great for the kids to play games, etc. Kind of needs a refresh.

On-Line Listing Not Accurate
We enjoyed our stay on the lake. However, the owner should review his on-line listing. There is only one available covered boat dock, not two. The 2nd covered dock has a boat lift in it, and is unavailable. The 4th bedroom is actually a "closet" with a full size bed and tv in it, and there are no windows. This is an average home that needs some repairs/maintenance. Lots of space for parking vehicles and trailers.

My brother and I meet our Niece that we have not seen for 40 years. We were very comfortable in the house and the beds were great. The road to the house was a little scary, however, The scenery was beautiful. Any questions we had was answered immediately. Good plave to rent.

Good property smaller bedrooms than we thought and a little hard getting to the house but the directions and the info about putting the boat in first was helpful

Nice place with plenty of room. Plenty to do including a pool table/ ping pong table, weights, grill, fishing, etc. Coffee pot did not work without holding button while brewing. Garage door did not work or lock. Considering the area that’s not a big deal at least for us. All in all a good place for a getaway.

Amazing Weekend at Lake Norris
This house was perfect for our girls weekend! The dock is perfect to swim or lounge by the water. The house was clean and spacious, with everything you need for cooking meals together. We had an amazing time and would book again!

EXCELLENT Location!
Love the location! Close to the highway! Quiet area. The house was PERFECT for our family of four and my sister's family of three. The kitchen has everything we needed and the kitchen table was large and accommodating. The view was impeccable from the deck. Enjoyed every minute! Boat traffic can be fast through the channel, but mostly courteous when they see you swimming at the dock. We didn't use the boat slip this time, but was grateful for the space if we needed! Just excellent! Hope to stay with you again in the future!

Overall everything was great. Lots of comfortable seating and space. Beds were pretty squeaky and could use some replacements. Easy access to the nice boat dock was a plus! Would definitely recommend this place.

We have stayed at this property two years in a row, October 2018 and October 2019. Both times the property has been a wonderful stay! The location is beautiful, overlooking the lake, and the accommodations feel like home.

Look forward to staying longer next time!
Originally we rented this property for a weekend of ATV riding with several family members and friends. Unfortunately many of them had to back out at the last minute. And it was probably a good thing for parking purposes because it would have been impossible to get 6 truck and trailers in there. The location was perfect if you don't mind driving to the nearest trail head to offload your buggy. We found a Shell Station on Exit 141 that only charged $5 for a daily parking permit. This house had just about everything you could need to cook meals, however a sharp knife was hard to find. You won't need to worry about not having enough fridge space with 2 available, the 3rd one, I assume is for leftover alcohol & condiments of previous travelers. So if you forget the ketchup like we did look there 1st! The place was very clean and comfortable overall. The dock was an additional bonus, allowing access to 2 kayaks and great fishing!

We stayed here for spring w our teenage kids. We boated, hiked, and rode horseback while we visited. The house has a large sitting space with plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything we needed. The patios were great and we used the gas grill to prepare dinner.

We had a nice weekend stay. We were there to ride on the nearby ATV trails and were able to get in and out with big trailers, but turn around was very tight on steep driveway.

Great stay!
We enjoyed staying at this property for our ATV trail riding. It had plenty of room for our 2 families for a total of 7 people (4 adults, 3 children). I would suggest they get a larger hot water tank because it only made it through about 2-3 showers before the water was cold. I would expect a house this size to accommodate more hot/warm showers than that. The living room had comfortable seating and the kitchen was sufficient. We assumed there would be salt and pepper in the cabinet so we didn’t purchase that for our cooking. There were several pepper shakers, but no salt was there. Just be aware of basic things like that. Overall, it was a clean place that met our needs and has a pretty view of the water from the deck.

"Our family had a great time together. Upon our arrival the floor needed vacuumed and swept. With a closer look my husband discovered the vacuum was completely clogged. Thank goodness he’s handy. Took him about 30 minutes and after a good sweep the house looked much better. We also had to do laundry as there were only 4 towels available, or so we thought. There were towels left in the dryer. We paid a $150 cleaning fee and I know we left the place in much better shape than we arrived. The views were beautiful and the house was comfortable."

It was a very nice house in a great location. It does however need some repairs.. faucets in bathroom leaks. New grill would be great as both do not work in entirely. Wine and goodies upon arrival are a great added touch!
