Casa Pé di Polon holiday home with mountain view
Welcome to Casa Pé di Polon. Our house is located in a little village, Leitaozinho, just few meters from its stunning Baobab (poilão). The place is about half an hour walking from the main road that connects Praia-Assomada-Tarrafal. In this peaceful valley you can enjoy a great deal. In the surroundings are nice hills and mountains; hiking roads, local food and traditions, etc. From the shops in Achada Igreja city center, Assomada, the second biggest city in the island, shares the borderline with Picos ...
We recently renovated our house, but we kept its original format. In this way we enjoy modern commodities like a warm shower, without giving up the traditional feeling of living in a traditional Cape Verdean house. You will find a living room with a dining table; a master bedroom and a bedroom with two beds, two bathrooms with sink and shower, and kitchen with fire plates and fridge.
This summer we plan to finish the last details (ie interior decoration, garden, etc), but the house is already fully liveable.
