Superbe séjour
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNous avons adoré la propriété de Daniel et Leanne. Tout est décoré avec goût et la maison est très bien équipée. On s’y sent comme chez soi. Bonne communication aussi avec les hôtes. Ce fût un superbe séjour dans le charmant village de Casares.

Absolutely lovely apartment and location!
Publié le 10 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay in Casares and it was a wonderful base to experience the beach and see Andalucia. The Pask's gracious hospitality is reflected in the very clean and well-appointed apartment. We lacked nothing in the kitchen and especially enjoyed making fresh orange juice to go with our coffee each morning. The bedrooms remained cool throughout the day and we can imagine the air conditioners would be very helpful in the heat of the summer. The apartment is far enough away from the beach bustle to provide a respite from crowds but close enough to be at the beach in 15 minutes. A small market, grocery, and bakery are within 5 minutes walk and larger groceries are also reachable by car within 15 minutes. We especially enjoyed Playa Alcaidesa, enough to spend three days there and the weather was very cooperative. A highlight for us was the rooftop terrace (the view is amazing!) with its relaxing seating area and the grill and dining table.

Fantastic home in a stunning location

Casares is charming with many excellent viewpoints and classic narrow streets. About half an hour to the coast but Ronda, Cadiz and several other key must-sees are within day trip driving distance. Highly recommended!!

Casares
Publié le 21 août 2022 sur HomeAwayCasares is a beautiful white washed Andalusian village. It is so pretty. The villa is a short walk from the square where there are a few bars and a couple of lovely restaurants. The villa itself was perfect. Daniel met us and showed us round with his wife, Leanne. Nothing was left unthought of, the villa had everything we needed for a great holiday. It was really clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was great for the kids and mostly shady which was welcome during the hottest part of the day. The roof terrace was a particular highlight and we sat watching the birds of prey circling above whilst cooking on the gas BBQ and relaxing. There was also a 'Fiera' on during our stay where there was live music, fair rides and street food. It was really busy and so lovely to soak up the atmosphere.
Casares is beautiful place and gave us a real taste of Spanish life. Locals are very friendly too. We absolutely hope to be back again!

Great place, great hosts!

The house is nestled in the heart of Casares, walking distance to all main attractions including hiking trails and groceries! It is also a quick 15 minute drive to the beach :) and has private indoor parking for 1 car!
The house was very clean and well equipped! We were travelling with a baby and the hosts even provided a crib, high chair and toys etc!
I would recommend staying at this house in Casares to anyone travelling to the south of Spain!

Both Leanne and Daniel obviously care a great deal that their guests have everything they need. The village and the locals are a delight and a lovely introduction to Spanish life in Andalusia
