Well furnished and comfortable
Publié le 21 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a group that stayed in 3 units of the Iron Trout. Every unit was well furnished and decorated and most importantly had comfortable beds. We've stayed in several VRBO's and it seems the trend is to place cheap, hard-as-a-rock beds that look nice. You won't get stuck with hard beds here - they're medium firm and gave us a great night's sleep.

Perfect location

The Iron Trout had plenty of parking for our truck and trailer and is central to many different hunting and fishing access points. The units are comfortable (and the beds too). It's no wonder why they have so many repeat customers.

Perfect for groups

Fishing stay
Publié le 31 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat place in Cascade for anyone fishing the Missouri. Close to fly shop, groceries and gas with room to park vehicles and drift boat. No hassle and a willingness of host to work with guests to make for an enjoyable stay.
Only down side; No dishwasher and a small coffee maker, but that is nitpicking. Would stay again.

Easy access to the Mo.

Fished with my son - just the two of us. Perfect. Simple, clean. Stove, oven, microwave, TV and bed. Salt/pepper and olive oil. Clean dishes. Pots a little worn, but usable. One bath. Soft bed, clean bed. No dishwasher (just an fyi). AC and heat.
We self-guided most days floating different sections of the Mo. Typically we stay closer to Craig. The location of this place gives easy access to the frontage road. Pelican point is about 10 minute drive. We floated a number of different sections. Being a little down river let us float sections we hadn't done previously. Lots of nice water near Cascade.
