This property was double booked and we were therefore forced to take a much smaller houseboat. Property manager claimed that she was going to give us a partial refund however never did. Ignored several of my messages and now claims that they don’t know what I am talking about! Poor communication!

You were actually given the option to stay on the boat that you rented or to move from the 70 foot boat to the 50 foot boat and have free kayaks, free paddle boards, free golf cart rental and free beach and fishing gear. Your family chose to take the smaller boat and have the freebies. That was the understanding and that was the refund Which was worth over 700. I was more than willing to keep you on the bigger vessel but you made your choice and then the other vessel booked. I failed to see that as poor communication but yes I should’ve put it in writing. I come from an old-school frame of mind that a handshake is good enough.
