Publié le 10 juin 2024 sur HomeAway15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds.

An Idyllic Lakeside Retreat.

Nestled in a serene and quiet countryside, this charming 3-bedroom bungalow was just what my brother and I needed for our 5-night stay. The home was only a few minutes away from visiting our parents in Collinsville; the purpose of our trip. What truly set it apart was the seamless blend of homely comforts and vacation luxury. Very clean and well-maintained, it felt like our own slice of countryside paradise, where nature and relaxation harmoniously intertwined. The host was accommodating and responsive to our questions throughout the stay.
We definitely intend to stay there again when we return in the spring, provided it’s available.

Holiday House
Publié le 29 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here over Christmas. We needed a place where we could come together as a family and celebrate. We were greeted with a Christmas tree and bottle of wine. The house was clean and warm. We didn’t use the fireplace as it was wood burning and it was too cold to enjoy the deck, but the view was pretty and we enjoyed watching all the birds out back. We used the kitchen extensively and had no issues. This was a very nice place and we would surely return when coming back to the Metro East.
