Bonne etape

Motel OK. Seul bémol, très mauvais wifi dans la chambre. Obligés d'aller a la réception pour utiliser internet. Sinon rien à dire. :) Lessive pas chère, personnel sympa, bon endroit pour faire étape

Price was good, but we had to 'fix' the broken curtain hooks so people walking by could not look into the room. Noisy at night due to people hanging outside the motel. May be average for a Motel 6, but not that good compared to other hotel chains.

Location is ok..very noisy from metal stairwell, floors..room had a urine smell..bed very old and creaky springs..

This adventure started 800 miles away about 3 months before the stay when I reserve 2 rooms. I wanted to get that in early so we (my daughter and I) would have the rooms locked down and nearby each other. This ended up being a good plan because the hotel was pretty well packed with the road construction crews in town over the holiday weekend and luckily the hotel receptionist was able to find us rooms next to each other. We decided to wait to check in until after check in time (3pm) so we could get our bags in and take a nap after our 12hr drive. When we did decide to get to our rooms around 330 or so we could see that the cleaning staff was still working on them. Rather than rushing them we decided to go get an ice cream so they could finish up and not skimp on cleaning. We got back and found them still not done with the first room so we sat in the car and waited until around 415 before we were able to unload the car. Upon entering we couldn’t find a reason that it took so long to clean. The room was picked up and restocked but there was definitely areas that could have been cleaned better. I didn’t take any pictures of what was wrong but the list includes boogers wiped on the wall by the toilet in both rooms, mold in the shower above the shower curtain and dust on many of the horizontal surfaces. We ended up picking up some cleaning supplies and cleaning the rooms ourselves. I didn’t expect much with how cheap it was but I did expect a little more then I got.
