Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGood for large groups who can tolerate imperfect housing. Old and creaky. Odd pantry/bath layout. Dated appliances kicked breaker. DW ancient. Two of four good beds. Inclosed porch a plus for bikes and such. Furnature otherwise good.

Stay at Cass

A Step Back in Time
Publié le 27 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay in the former company town of Cass. The house felt like staying in our grandmother's house. It was very well equipped. Many of the kitchen utensils and pans looked brand new. We had everything we needed to eat in. The evenings cooled off, so the lack of a/c was not a problem. Internet worked great. The two living areas were very nice - plenty of room in one for all of us, but space to spread out if needed. Kitchen table was great for meals and playing games.

Paul, we appreciate you taking the time to provide you wonder review of our Shay Inn home located in the town of Cass. The home and the town of Cass is such a historic location. I can certainly understand how the house made you feel you were staying in your grandmother's house. Keeping the property well-equipped is very important and necessary to meet our guest needs. We make an effort to give our visitors everything they require to have a comfortable and pleasurable stay, particularly with regard to cooking and dining. You are correct, the AC tends not to be such an issue in homes of that era, they tend to stay cool, and the temperatures are quite comfortable at night. Cass house
Publié le 3 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis house is convenient for Cass, and comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 children with the 3 bedrooms and pull out couch. Keyless entry was great, the wifi was super fast, and beds were comfy. Very close to Greenbrier trail & river for hiking and fishing.

Perfect place for a vacation/getaway

Autumn in Cass
Publié le 17 nov. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe were very pleased with our stay at the Shay Inn. We were safe, comfortable and were able to spend many pleasant hours at the Inn. The size of the property gave us plenty of room to have alone time, while providing us a place to gather when we wanted. We cooked, we slept, we cooked, we enjoyed the local scenery and activities, we cooked and we spent many hours around the pretty dining room playing games which mom (me) won. We loved our stayed, enjoyed meeting our neighbots and we hope to return soon!
