Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat spot to fish and access the state and national parks. The sun room looking over the river is a wonderful spot to play cards or enjoy a meal. We spent so much time in that room as it was just a beautiful view. Will continue to go there every year i can.

Fisherman's Paradise
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a beautiful cabin home right on Hat Creek with great fishing just steps from the porch. The place is much larger than it appears in the photos and it is well-furnished with a retro hunting/fishing cabin vibe. Our family, ranging from teens to grandparents, stayed in mid-July.
Lots of beds and hang out spaces for a large family gathering. The place was perfectly clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed BBQing our fresh-caught trout on the huge deck with view of the stream and mountains.
The location for fishing couldn't be better. We caught lots of stocked rainbow trout behind the cabin and at the nearby dam and Baum Lake... these areas are also good for kids and older folks with mobility issues. There's also world-class fly fishing water just downriver past the PG&E powerhouse.
The hosts were great. Responsive to communication and they had a nice welcome treat ready for us and a binder with info about the house and the neighborhood. We'll definitely book here again!
