Buonasera, trovo necessario rispondere a questa recensione perché è nostra abitudine, mia e dello staff, chiedere ai nostri clienti come va durante il soggiorno in modo da rimediare ad eventuali piccole defiance che possono naturalmente capitare nel lavoro ed i signori sono andati via dicendo che tutto era andato bene, apprezzando i nostri servizi, la colazione, la camera e facendo trapelare null'altro dai loro sorrisi. Una mattina a colazione riferiscono di aver sentito rumori per strada, era la sera della festa del paese, e questo significa tanta gente e confusione per le vie del centro storico, motivo per il quale era fisiologico sentire la gente che parlava e festeggiava per strada! Prontamente ho comunque fornito ai clienti dei tappi per la notte, salvo sentirmi dire l'indomani che non li avevano utilizzati perché era stato tutto molto più tranquillo e rientrato alla normalità! Con cortesia, sorrisi e garbo ci siamo salutati, e adesso leggo una recensione da 4/10 o 2/10 un voto INSUFFICIENTE significa che è stato un soggiorno pessimo, e giudicare pessima quest'esperienza mi sembra un po' un eufemismo. A volte si dimentica il danno che può fare una recensione! Per fortuna è l'unica con questa votazione e ne abbiamo tante altre che vanno proprio in senso opposto. Mi permetto di fare una considerazione: meglio dirlo di presenza se qualcosa durante un soggiorno non è stato di vostro gradimento, sopratutto scindendo ciò che accade all'interno da ciò che accade all'esterno di un b&b, perché se andiamo via con il sorriso per poi tornare a casa e sentirci giudici spietati dell'operato della gente che lavora per voi (o per me quando sono io ad andare in vacanza!) si corre il rischio di non fare una bella figura :) detto questo grazie comunque per averci scelto ed essere stati tra i nostri ospiti! Faremo tesoro anche di questa esperienza :)

Peppe was an excellent host: the breakfast (with local homemade snacks) was great, he helped us with parking, gave us instructions to all of the local beaches (and even gifted us an umbrella for the day), and even gave us great dinner recommendations.
The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the major shops, restaurants, and nightlife in the area. A 10 min downhill walk to the water.
The room was enormous - so big, that the AC couldn’t cool the entire unit, so it was a bit warm - but that is to be expected in the middle of the Sicilian summer.
Check-in and out was super easy - there was even an elevator to get our huge suitcases upstairs.
We loved our stay here and hope to return one day with our family

Schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel

Pour : Der persönliche Empfang sowie die zentrale Lage und der Flair des alten Gebäudes machen dieses Hotel einzigartig.
Emplacement : Vom Hotel aus ist der Hafen zu Fuss in ca 10 Minuten erreichbar. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe viele Restaurants.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem restaurierten alten Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gross. Auch Zimmer auf der Strassenseite sind ausreichend ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet beinhaltet selbstgebackene Kuchen und wird sehr persönlich angeboten. Es gibt allerdings keine Hotelparkplätze, was manchmal zu Parkplatzsuche führt und keinen Platz in unmittelbarer Nähe garantiert. Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder.

Lovely, authentic hospitality!

Amazing location, spacious room, clean, comfortable and most of all a really sweet staff that spoke great English and French as well. Especially love homemade jams from the owners wife and figs from his garden at the breakfast! Recommended.

Pour : location parking secure quiet immaculately clean well-appointed generous host spacious modern bath value elevator.
Emplacement : The port is close enough to walk and the street has numerous restaurants, shops, banks, churches etc. Several blocks are closed to traffic.
We feel lucky to have stumbled into this hotel. It is secure, quiet, in a great location and parking was not a problem. It is a beautiful building full of old-warm charm. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were elegant including the typical Italian sweets and cold cuts, etc. and its the only place in Italy where we were offered eggs. Jams were home-made and delicious. The owner was always available and helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. He even accompanied me to his bank to help resolve a problem I had buying Euros. I must mention that it is an incredible value for the money. We paid much more for other hotels in Italy that were not nearly as nice. I'm already planning my next trip and this is where I will stay.

A good B&B in Castelamare del Golfo
