Paradis en toscane
Publié le 20 août 2023 sur HomeAwayNous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans la maison d’Emma et Paul. Le bagnaie regroupe 8 logements tout en haut d’une colline avec une vue splendide sur la toscane, ses vignes et oliviers. On se croirait dans un petit village. C’est très calme et paisible. La maison casa del fico est très bien équipée. Un rdc séjour cuisine. A l’étage 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain. Et petit plus. Il y a la climatisation dans les chambres. Tellement agréable pour un bon sommeil. La location a une terrasse et un petit jardin. C’est vraiment un endroit exceptionnel. Le paradis.
Paul et Emma n’étaient pas sur les lieux durant notre semaine mais toutes les informations nécessaires nous ont été transmises sans problème. Et il y a toujours un contact sur place. Nous recommandons fortement cette belle adresse !

Outstanding view!
Publié le 12 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayEverything was perfect! The owners Emma & Paul are really helpfull, quick to react and friendly. The house manager is available but not intrusive, she makes sure everything is done to make your stay as confortable as possible. The house, appart from being fully equipped, is nicely decorated and have a lot charm. It has kept its history. The pool is giant, clean and beautiful and the long chairs are plenty. The location is strategic near Siena, Firenze and every smaller places to visit. But all those points are nothing compare to the breathtaking view you get from the top of that hill. From the pool or the south west side of the property the landscape is amazing! We were at first disappointed to not see that view from our terrace but being in the shadow is really nice during the Italian's summer, I can only recommand to stay at la Bagnaie!

Publié le 18 août 2018 sur HomeAwayWe literally have adored this place and the house was very comfortable, well equipped, and simply warm and welcoming.
The views around Le Bagnaie are exceptionally beautiful and filled us with joy and peaceful emotions at every moment of the day: When opening the shutters in the morning, when going to the vegetable garden for picking up some delicious tomatoes or eggplants for our lunch, when at the pool in the afternoon or early evening, when looking at the sunset in the direction of San Giminiano and looking up at the shooting stars at night!
We enjoyed many going-outs, to Siena, San Giminiano, Volterra, Colle di Val D’Elsa and, as a crowning point, to Panzano to the very special butcher’s restaurant. We especially enjoyed the garden of Casa del Fico, a little paradise which invited to long hours of reading on the lounging chairs. We also had many walks in the immediate vicinity of the house, up to Fonterutoli, sparkled with encounters with deers and boars.
Jackie, Serena and Cosimo were all real treats. Jackie the manager made feel very much “at home”, Serena, the cook prepared us feasts and Cosimo, the gardener, is delightful and charming and deserves the awards of the “ green palms”!
We will come back even though we live so far away, with our sons and grand-children hopefully next times.
Our guests ( friends and family) join us in celebrating the “ravissement” and we will all keep fond memories of these two weeks!

Calme et belles vues

Grande piscine à partager, tennis. Le tout dans un beau jardin, régulièrement entretenu. Bien situé pour visiter sienne, san gimignano, Florence. Et pleins de petits villages médiévaux. Nous avons passés, à 6 (avec 2 petits) de super vacances. Ingrid

Beautiful Tuscan Property!
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our 2nd stay at this property. Is it exactly what you imagine Tuscany to be like. Breathtaking scenery all around you. We would sit outside morning and at sunset. The views are amazing. We didn’t get to use the pool this time because it was a bit chilly but it is beautiful. The place inside is so cute! Rooms were big, beds comfortable and very clean. Having Serena cook dinner for us 2 times was definitely a highlight. It is a must! We highly recommend booking this for your Tuscany vacation! The town of Castellina in Chianti is a short 15 min drive and has the cutest walking street with shops and restaurants. Many wineries close by. Very convenient to seeing all the town in Tuscany.

A fantastic relaxing retreat

AMAZING !!
Publié le 8 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property checked ALL the boxes for the Tuscan portion of our vacation. We were excitedly impressed just driving up to it. It sits stately on a hill, and overlooks the surrounding beautiful Tuscan countryside. The well-maintained grounds are impeccable! We spent a great deal of time on lounge chairs by the amazing pool, overlooking views that belong on postcards. This genuine Tuscan villa provided plenty of space for the four of us (2 couples). It was very clean, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations. Even though it is one of 8 units on the property, it felt very private. Our courteous hosts, Emma and Paul communicated very well, and were extremely helpful with our pre-trip planning. Jacky, our very attentive (local) go-to person, was fantastic !
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Casa del Fico… It was sad to leave this magical place.

Beautiful Italian villa

Villa was decorated nicely and had a lot of basic provisions. The property manager Jacky was a lovey lady and very helpful! . Loved our time there and plan to return!

Tuscany Villa
Publié le 14 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayAmazing scenery. Believe all the pictures. Saw porcupines, wild boars with offspring and the town Castellina in Chiante is absolutely charming. We drove to Tuscany only to find we already had the same gorgeous vistas from the villa.
Serena's cooking is simply legendary. Far better than any restaurant. Her zucchini flowers were a huge hit. Thanks again Serena. We were lucky enough to have her cook for us 3 nights! You do need GPS and patience on the last bit of road.
