Amazing stay

Wonderful stay in Empuriabrava

Martin even offered travel and dining suggestions that enhanced our stay. The property was spotless and the location on the canal was beautiful. The house provided a perfect retreat after long days of exploration..

Wonderful place with very positive vibes

Very good stay in Ampuriabrava

It is very well laid out and full of character. The location is ideal if you have a boat or wang to rent one since you can moor it right in front of the house.
Another important feature for us was that the swimming pool is very secure.

Beautiful marina
Posted Oct. 24, 2018 on HomeAwayGorgeous area and the house is lovely. Very relaxing lying on balcony watching skydivers and seeing the boats pass by. The only downside to this villa is that the sheets, towels and tea towels aren’t included in the price (€48) if you want the pool heated that’s extra too (€100) but let the owner know in advance as it takes 2 days to heat up. Cleaning is another €150 and last but not least €500 deposit which is a lot of money on top of the price you’re paying for the villa. Make sure you’re shown how to work the tv, washing machine and dishwasher as we had to guess. The bins where you put your rubbish are at the end of the street which is a fair walk.
Marie the owner, was very nice so if you’re not happy with anything let her know and she’ll sort it out.

Beautiful house, perfect for family holidays and dinners!!
Posted May 5, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and well kept villa. it is located in a quiet and beautiful street, and on the water, so has a great view with all the boats and villas. It has all you need for a perfect holiday: (heated) pool, lounge sets, table tennis and palm trees! But above all: the kitchen with the large table, bar, plancha, oven, bbq’s make it really special. There is so much equipment, even a ice-cube machine, it’s like having your own restaurant! And the atmosphere is so nice, perfect for long family dinners! We didn’t have the most perfect weather but enjoyed the house so much that it didn’t really matter. The owners are very responsive and give all the information you need, so thank you very much, Marie!

Dieses Haus ist ein Traum
Posted Nov. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayUnser perfekte Urlaub begann bereits vor der Ankunft - Marie hat uns sehr nützliche Tipps zum Haus und zur Umgebung gegeben - wir hatten das Gefühl Empuriabrava zu kennen, obwohl wir noch nie dort waren.
Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Wasser und ist sehr liebevoll (genau nach unserem Geschmack) eingerichtet.
Die Räume sind groß und tip top gepflegt. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienhäusern doch die Ausstattung in diesem Haus ist nicht zu überbieten.
Der Pool und die gesamte Außenanlage sind ein Traum.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Woche in vollen Zügen genossen.
Ein großes Dakenschön an Marie und Martin für die herzliche Begrüßung und den klasse Service - wir freuen uns bereits darauf, wenn wir wieder zu Gast in diesem wundervollen Haus sein dürfen!
Ich würde gerne 10 Sterne vergeben :)

Vue exceptionnelle !
Posted Oct. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayLa villa est absolument magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur le canal ! Nous étions 3 adultes et 4 enfants et avons passé une super semaine ensoleillée en cette fin d’octobre ! Nous en avons profité pour faire un tour de bateau sur le canal, faire du Minigolf, se balader le long des superbes plages aux alentours ! La maison est vraiment très bien placée, à proximité de toutes les commodités. Elle est également très spacieuse et très bien équipée (table de ping pong, piscine chauffée, transats, …)
Pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner, vous serez conquis par la cuisine XXL et ses nombreux accessoires ! La propriétaire Marie est très sympathique et vous conseillera au mieux pour passer un agréable séjour !

very nice holiday home with all comfort
Posted Sep. 26, 2023 on HomeAwaywe were in Empuriabrava from 19 Sept 2023 until 24 Sept 2023, i.e. not in the high season. Nice quite location of the house, a little bit away from the shops, city center and the beach. It is recommended to have a car.
House was very clean and the outside were freshly painted in white. Many windows so a lot of sun in the house during the day. All the rooms have shutters so you can make them dark (very convenient for the baby to sleep)
You have three big rooms wit airco and one smaller room without airco. The private entrance to the smaller room is via the outside, but you can get into the room also through one of the three big rooms.
The house fits 8 people. we were with 7 adults and 1 baby (14 months).
A nice swimming pool (we paid for the extra heating of the pool in September) and enough sunbeds and a very nice "pergola" on the terrace. From the terrace you can see the boats on the canal.
We had a very pleasant stay and will certainly reconsider this place if we were to cme back to Empuriabrava.

Thank you very much, Peter, for your kind words. The air-conditioning in the fourth bedroom has been on order for over a month, and the electrician is due to work as soon as the house is available (a victim of his own success) and according to schedule....
It's true that the increasingly hot summers, even by the sea, seemed essential to us, so as we improve the house's standard of service a little more each year, it will be ready for the 2024 season.
Admittedly, the house is a little out of the way from the centre and the shops, although there is a mini-market 500 metres away, but that's also a guarantee of tranquillity....
