Perfect holiday week

The house is clean, the property very well maintained, the kitchen very well equipped, the pool is great! The location is very idyllic! We really enjoyed our week! I can highly recommend the location!

Un coin de paradis en Italie
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLa maison louée par Simon est un endroit merveilleux pour passer des vacances en famille. Le site est incroyable, dans la partie haute du village de Castelplanio, la vue splendide, façon carte postale, la maison a beaucoup de cachet et a été rénovée avec gout et un grand souci des finitions, l'endroit est calme, protégé, arboré, juste parfait... et que dire de la piscine, grande, propre, idéale pour se rafraichir, faire des longueurs ou jouer au water-volley en famille. On y a passé une semaine en famille, 9 personnes au total, c'était juste fantastique ! Simon a été très clair dans ses explications, et très réactif en cas de question, nous reviendrons très certainement un jour à la Villa Staffieri.

Wonderful villa in the Marche countryside
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe villa and the grounds are wonderful, and the views are enchanting. We had a great time at Villa Staffieri as a multi-generational family of 8. Clearly a lot of thought and love has gone into the house. The village is an easy walking distance and it has a grocery store, cafe, a park with a plauground. The local pizzeria was unfortunately close while we were there, but it's set to re-open in August. There are several restaurants and pizzerias, as well as supermarkets, within short driving distance. Simon has been very responsive throughout and a few minor issues have been resolved in a very timely manner. Overall highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful location
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is really beautiful. The house is clean and has everything you need for your vacation there. The rooms all have an own bathroom which are modernist and where you feel totally comfortable with.
In case of rain you even have a billiard table to have some fun till the sun comes back again.
There are several sitting areas for having dinner with a stunning view. We absolutely loved it and can give a 100% recommendation for this 5🌟 accommodation

Excellent stay
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall we enjoyed our stay and the host did everything to make our stay enjoyable. However, there are a few issues that people should be aware of. The pool and access to it are not suitable for young children. The path and the surrounding area of the pool need some work! Also the large fridge was not working and the oven needs replacing. The village is quiet and friendly but offers little beyond a convenience store. There is no restaurant within walking distance. In conclusion I feel the property was overpriced considering lack of local facilities and conditions.

If we can address the issues raised:
Pool; access has never previously been raised as an issue. Granted this is a deep pool, as it is designed for swimmers, but we have had many multiple generational families visit and our children have learned to swim here too. The pictures of the steps are in the advert, and this is normally seen as a benefit of ease to get out of the pool.
The fridge: we discovered the large main fridge not working when we arrived after your stay and can only assume this occurred towards the end of your stay, as we communicated numerous times with you, not least of all when your party broke the front door lock (we organised immediate help and lock replacement at our cost) and your car accident (we offered local help and to extend your stay, all at no extra cost),
We are disappointed that you felt you didn’t have a 5* time but we appreciate that your car accident would have impacted your holiday greatly, with the reliance on the village shop being greater than normal. It was also unfortunate the village restaurant was temporarily closed during your stay but we are pleased to report that the popular pizzeria reopens this month 🍕

Fantastic location of house with view over the area
Publié le 20 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great holiday in the villa and specifically enjoyed the garden, pool and location on top of a hill. Small grocery in 5 min drive. Although 40 min drive to Ancona / the coast, the location for us was nothing less than fabulous. Visited several wineries in the neighbourhood as well as a olive oil maker. Contact with owner is very prompt and smooth; check-in and check-out effortless.

Beautiful home with amazing view

For our dog it was great to explore the garden and also the close by walk path. We liked the difference terraces to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and nature. Small minor was the lack of shade for us. But otherwise perfect. And the contact with Simon was great. He helped us with beds and chairs for our 3 baby’s (triplets), we were really happy with his efforts on short notice to arrange all of this! We would love to come back.

Lovely villa in a fantastic location
Publié le 20 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe’ve just had a lovely 2 weeks at this villa - we were a group of 7 and it felt spacious with room to spare.
Communication with the owner prior to and during the stay was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. The information pack in the villa contained lots of helpful information and ideas for day trips etc.
The villa was clean and well equipped - the pool table was a big hit!! There were also lots of board games, DVDs and books, although we spent most of our time outside enjoying the various seating areas dotted around the garden.
The pool is absolutely fantastic, bigger than your average private pool, with lots of poolside seating and the most beautiful views.
Castelplanio is a lovely hilltop village with local shop and pizzerias.
We would thoroughly recommend as a base from which to explore this region of Italy.

This is indeed an amazing base for peace and tranquillity, with access to amazing food, the beach, Urbino, Loreto, Genga caves, Outlet shopping, especially for bags and shoes, many of the top designers have their products produced in the area, including TOD's, CESARE PACIOTTI, Viviane Westwood and many more.

Great stay in Marche
Publié le 5 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in the Villa Staffieri with our family, 8 persons and one dog. We had a fabulous time, the pool has a great size, you can really go for a swim. The garden has lots of nice places to sit and relax. The house is good equipped and the rooms are beautiful, every room with its own bath. The view from the terrace and the pool is stunning.
