Cozy cabin and beautiful property
Posted Nov. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is the second time we’ve stayed here. The cabin is clean, cozy, and has a gorgeous view of the pond below. We love being able to bring our dog with us. She has so much fun running in the fields and hiking with us. Will def go again.

Relaxing Stay
Posted Oct. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayBear Hollar Lodge is a quiet and spacious cabin in the woods with a beautiful view of fall leaves turning. It overlooks a private pond. The cabin has absolutely everything you need for a time away from all the stresses of life. Host was very responsive. My husband is recovering from cancer and iht was just what the doctor ordered. We look forward to visiting again.

Perfect Cabin Experience
Posted Aug. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were visiting the area to check out the local ATV trails. This cabin was such a neat experience. In addition to being comfortable and clean, it was one of the best stocked rentals I’ve ever seen. The view from the deck was amazing and we really enjoyed the company of the hummingbirds visiting the numerous feeders the owner had hanging up. We took advantage of the stocked pond to do some fishing, which I haven’t done since I was a little kid. The only hiccup we had was navigating the driveway with a full-size pick up towing a 22’ trailer with our trail bikes. We managed to make it work, though. This isn’t the owner’s fault, just an advisement for anyone also towing a trailer. We will definitely stay here again.

Posted Mar. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWe very much enjoyed this property. We walked to the pond and followed the trail to the cave a few times. The house has all the comforts of home. We had a fire in the fire pit. You can see large catfish in the pond below from the house.

Posted Oct. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayLoved the open kitchen and living room… So that we could all be together… Looking out the picture window at the beautiful fall colored leaves… Had everything in the kitchen that you needed to cook with… had a very homey feeling… outside deck was awesome… Wish we could have had better weather so that we could enjoy it… Overall… We had an awesome time

Great cabin to getaway for fun and relaxation.

In love with this lodge!
Posted Jul. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayBeef Holler was just perfect for us. Secluded in the woods but not far from town. All you need is your food and clothing, they have absolutely everything you could want or need. The fishing pond was so fun and beautiful. And again if you forget your pole they have plenty to choose from. The owners have really furnished your every need here. One thing I can say is we didn't bring a heavy catfish pole and I suggest you do so because we had some snap our lines back in the reel😱 There's BIG fish in that pond! We will be back!😁
