Awesome View
Publié le 28 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation of the property was great, it was a short walk to the beach at Sandals. It was quiet and I felt very safe. Apartment was very nice and comfortable Short drive to a grocery store. We made many meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We went on many tours and were picked up at Sandals La Toc which was very convenient. Overall very happy and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Very Private with great view
Publié le 7 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is very quiet and private. The pool is a great place to relax and get some sun. Lydia is a great host. And responded to are questions and request quickly but if we had not contacted her you would think the entire place was yours alone. Wonderful stay. The view of the bay is spectacular. The access to the beach at Sandals is a short walk down the steps and tours can be made with several tour companies there on the beach.
It was a pleasure to return to the quiet evenings after a day of excursions.
The property is a bit difficult to find the first time but that is because of the mountainous terrain. Just be patient. We choose to explore by ourselves for the most part so for us a car is essential.
The people of St Lucia were wonderful to us and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat.
A short drive to the city center gives access to the market and gift shops and restaurants. Castries is a very busy cruise port so there is a lot of activity on most days.
We did a water tour to the Pitons, snorkeling at sugar beach the volcanic mud bath and waterfall. Highly recommend this tour to see a lot of the islands highlights without driving. The access from the water is much quicker to most areas.

Do not spend your money here
Publié le 12 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayDo not spend your money on this place. The pictures do not do it justice. The one shower didn’t work the other flooded the living room. The place is tiny and way out of the area of anything else. It’s falling apart at the seems and is not worth the money at all. We would have left but didn’t want to deal with the headaches of trying to get our money back. You enter the stairs to get down to your place from the side not head on, so be very cautious as it isn’t very safe at all. Outside lights are falling off the walls. The fridge is not very cold and they don’t turn it on until minutes before you get there so don’t bring food with you. The kitchen has a stench that lingers throughout the whole place. All in all do not rent this place. Find something better elsewhere. Trust me

We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your stay.
However, you didn’t voice these complaints during your stay even though it was made it clear that if you needed any assistance, we would be more than happy to help as we pride ourselves on ensuring guests enjoy their stay.
We have had guests prior to your stay and subsequent to it that loved the unit and had no issues.
These guests admittedly tampered with the shower head, and also flooded out part of the unit. Added to that, they left the property open and unsecured on their departure.
Would not recommend them to stay at your property.

Publié le 28 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty was great and had an amazing view of the ocean. I would recommend a rental vehicle as the property is up hill and would be a pain to walk or have to call a cab every day to get into town.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing, quite get away then this place will be great for your stay.

Less than expected
Publié le 5 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayFrankly I am having difficulty reconciling my experience with previous reviews. The property is undeniably rundown and the host was not very helpful. It is in a peculiar spot with no address- and hard to find. Major attractions are at least an hour away. Nothing was provided - no paper towels, cleaning products, no basic staples like salt and pepper. We were there over New Years and host neglected to tell us basically everything shuts down for three days. Last straw: broken lounge chairs at pool. Fail.

Michael, I am sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. Upon your arrival I made it clear that you can contact me with any requests regarding your stay. When you did make a request I promptly attended to you even though you were shouting at me. I calmly stated whatever you need I can assist. Your wife was extremely kind, complimentary and thankful for any help I provided. I also recommend when visiting a country to do your research regarding holidays and closures as most persons do. The property is located in the capital, Castries, and the only attractions one hour away are in the town of Soufriere where the Pitons are located. Most visitors to the island enjoy a scenic day trip by boat from Castries to Soufriere town. We appreciate constructive feedback and always look to improve our guests stay. Wishing you all the best.

Amazing

The 1 and only thing i wish is a easier way to get to the beach than ordering a taxi. But that one thing didn’t deter my vacation. Still enjoyed the location and everything St Lucia had to offer!
