Summer Get Away Aug 2023

The outside space was amazing, The pool Is lovely and clean and was bigger enough for our 3 kids to enjoy. The views are spectacular with the surrounding areas very peaceful. Just right to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
There was plenty of seating area and sun beds, Also a good, shaded area to avoid the heat of the Sun.
The Owners were quick to respond to any Questions, Also provided key information for our stay.
A visit to Valencia is a must, There are some great markets, and the beach was 5 stars. Also, a very good Shopping Outlet just outside Valencia.
There is also a nice Waterpark only 40 mins drive from the Villa.
In all we had a very relaxing holiday and would highly recommend your stay at Mel and Dave's Villa.

Wonderful villa with amazing views
Posted Sep. 20, 2022 on HomeAwayThe villa is very spacious inside and the kitchen has everything you need including a coffee pod machine.
The large pool is fantastic with loads of comfortable sun loungers and sun all day. The owners even provided towels and inflatables for the pool.
The views are just spectacular during the day and beautiful in the evening especially with the pool lights on.
There are a few large supermarkets only 10 minutes drive away to stock up on everything you need.
The owners are very responsive and provided excellent information and directions.
We had a very relaxing, chilled stay and had everything we needed.
This villa is excellent value for money and we would defiantly consider visiting again.

Heerlijk genoten
Posted Sep. 6, 2022 on HomeAwayVoor de 2e keer de villa gehuurd. Heerlijk genoten van de zwembad en de mooie uitzicht. Genoeg faciliteiten in de villa en winkels in de buurt. Kortom zeker weer voor hervat baar.

Beautiful and peaceful place

Villa with Views

Villa I have rented in 20 years of renting.
Highlights are the panoramic views from large terrace/pool area , and the best pool ever! Great responsive owners with meticulous guidelines and information to get the best from your stay.

Lovely villa in peaceful spot with amazing views
Posted Oct. 8, 2018 on HomeAwayA modern and spacious villa in the heart of real Spain away from the hustle and bustle of tourist Spain. Very clean, tidy and well presented offering all the requirements for a relaxing holiday. There was only the two of us on this occasion and the villa coped very well for our needs. We enjoyed the spectacular views at all times of the day and the pagoda over the outside eating area not only protected from the daytime sun but created a cosy spot for evening dining. It was just so peaceful! There was a minor problem of keeping the pool completely clean during our stay due to dust from a storm or the farming, but it was not an issue to us and it was regularly maintained whilst we were there. Due to its out of the way location a car is a must if you want to explore the area. The property is accessed along an unadopted road with great private parking behind a lockable gate. Valencia was an easy 40 minute drive away which we would recommend if you have not been before. We had a great time and we thank the owners for sharing their home with us. We would greatly recommend a stay at this home from home villa and we know our teenagers would have loved it if they had been with us!

Unfortunately a dust storm did cloud the pool at one point but with a bit of care it was quickly back to standard and we hope we did not interrupt your stay too much while we sorted it out. I am concerned about your comment that the villa was not clean and advise that the villa is cleaned, checked and photographed prior to your arrival. I have checked the photographs taken prior to your arrival and cannot see any area where the villa is unclean but would certainly like to hear from you further as to the issues you had so we can improve. The only thing we cannot control is the dust we sometimes get at the villa which is brought up the hillside by the winds from the coast.
I hope you can share your concerns with us direct and we can improve what we do for our next guests and would love to see you return in the future.

A stunning villa in a beautiful place with amazing views
Posted Aug. 14, 2018 on HomeAwayWe had an amazing holiday from start to finish, the villa is beautiful and comfortable easily accommodating our 4 children . Much thought and care has been put into the facilities of the villa making it very easy to have a relaxing break away from the business of life, the rooms are all spacious and well equipped.
As you enter the villa a sign saying this is our happy place greets you, and I couldn’t agree more!

Villa nice to bad about the owners
Posted Jul. 24, 2018 on HomeAwayOn first impression villa looked lovely with beautiful views untill 2nd day when poo came up shower drain while shower was in use. Owners were unable to fix untill day 6 of 7. Lost most of deposit Owner stated we broke drainage system took it apart to clear blockage and tried to cover it up. Which is an outrageous lie. Make sure and do a spring clean before you leave as stripping the beds, empting all rubbish bins cleaning outside having kitchen clean was not good enough for The owner . Also folks my family got judged by owner in the middle of our holiday when he came to repair drainage system that the villa looked as though it had been burgled we were a family on holiday what did he expect, there was pool floats and towels laying around. And in 39 degree heat dont use the aircon as extra charges will occur. And heaven forbid you hang wrong key on wrong nail but corrected it before you left thats a big no no as well. There property manager is unwell and Owner had to do his job for him. In my opinion he kept deposit to help pay for his flight and replace drainage system which was broken when we got there. Also got accused of leaving oven filthy funny that we dident use oven and bbq required scrubbing before first use. I would NOT recommend this villa to anyone due to the owners. Good memories ruined by Owner.

Prior to guests arriving our villa is cleaned & checked to make sure everything is in full working order. To protect us from any disputes we also photograph all areas & the utility meter readings. It is unfortunate these guests had a problem with the drainage on day 2 of their stay despite the villa being in full working order on their arrival. We reacted instantly when we received the call from the guests and arranged for the problem to be inspected the next day. The guests were quick to advise it wasn't a problem to all use the one bathroom and we arranged to fix the problem as soon as possible. We did not claim on the damage deposit for this issue but for excessive electricity charges due to the aircon units being on all week with all the doors and windows open which does not work. We believe the guests tried to cover up the damage they made to the drainage but cannot prove this hence we only requested a proportion on the damage deposit not the full amount available. It is unfortunate the guests did not look after our villa during their stay and upsetting to see the place in such a state. Our cleaning team had to spend more time than usual to get the place back to our usual standard as these guests did not seem to respect it. We would not rent to these people again.
