Peaceful beach get away

I could get up in the morning drink my coffee and do yoga while my husband was still sleeping and then walk a half block to the beach when he got up. We have friends that live in Morro Bay and it was literally a five minute drive.
Plus Carol was a great host who answered my quiestions and offered information about the area.

Close to beach, quiet and clean
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy dog and I stayed 4 nights at the cottage. The cottage is perfect for one or 2 adults -as stated in the description. It looks small from the outside, but it is a very adequate 1 bedroom with full bath, small kitchen, table for two dinning and very comfortable living area apartment. There is a large VRBO rental house in front of the cottage. There is a patio in between the two. In fact, in the picture of the front of the cottage, the covered table is on that patio. The large house is a two story. Their back deck looks down on the cottage. The time period I was there the big house was not rented and my dog and I had the property to ourselves. The driveway runs along the side of the big house all the way to the cottage. Normal parking for the cottage is on the street (the space is marked with a reserve sign). The driveway is reserved for the big house, but since it wasn't occupied when I was there I had the driveway. It made unloading and loading the vehicle a breeze. You can't beat the location - one house away from Pacific Ave.! October can be cool and cloudy, but we enjoyed perfect Fall weather: cool mornings and blue sky and sunshine!

Thank you Valerie for being a five-star guest. Make it a regular trip down and if you check with me in advance I could tell you whether the big house may be empty again. I worked in the yard yesterday and today and trimmed back some of the overgrown flowers. Before I go back over there I will get a flower vase and a clock that lights up in the dark for the bedroom.

Wonderful Beach Cottage
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty owner is very friendly, helpful and great communicator through VRBO messages & texts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage neat and clean. Our little dog enjoyed his walks along the beach and surrounding neighborhood. A great place to relax and enjoy the coast.

Cozy and comfortable cottage near the beach

It is in a great location near the beach and perfect for dog guests. The outdoor shower is great for cleaning them up after the beach. We will be back again soon.

Beach Get Away
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cottage was a very nice place to stay... close to the beach, close to town and close to many activities in nearby coastal destinations. While we were there, we met the owner, who was very nice and welcoming.The only downside was the noise from construction happening next door put a damper on the serenity we had hoped to find.
